TLDR for everyone wondering why Dreams of Roses was changed.
It recently got announced on twitter that its composer was in a relationship with a minor, they didn't want to change the song since yes they recognized that it was really good, but for personal views and to be safe (can't blame them with how twitter has been) they no longer wanted to affiliate with them.

Funfact: in Your demise there’s some references to not only ddlc itself but with Easter eggs as well, every time Monika glitches there’s a good percentage that one of the Easter eggs you will find is the corruption mod
Makes sense, seeing as she broke both games. Even in DDLC some of the game's actual things kind of slip in at the end. Not to mention the whole "Notes of Markov" thing is a reference to the book Yuri reads.

The song creator of Dreams of Roses was caught dating a minor, a roblox game called Funky Friday has changed it to "Bara no Yume", and has removed the song creator from the credits. The same reason happened to the mod itself. That's why Dreams of Roses is gone, it's not actually.
The creator of Funky Friday named it Bara no Yume because that was what the new song was called. Dreams of Roses is very gone now, even if Bara no Yume translates into Dreams of Roses.

EXPURGATION from tricky 🔶️
I wouldn't really call it an answer to expurgation if the only thing they have in common are notes that I assume kill you if you hit them
The idea of these notes started before the Tricky mod came out.
YOUR DEMISE is actually “YOUR REALITY” become spooky.
It really doesn't match the difficulty of that chart, though. While it does have a few 16th bursts with crossovers, the arrow density, BPM & the usage of special arrows just aren't up to par in terms of difficulty.
I can't say much about the other mods that tried to be as hard as possible, but when it comes to well-done charts, Expurgation seems to be a definite step up in difficulty.

@@ColusDragon But the notes were in tricky before hd, they could of been placed in the debug menu by placing notes while holding alt key, they worked as intended other then the fact you still lost health if you didn't hit them but you lost more health by hitting them

I'm willing to separate a creator from their creation. I can hate who makes the thing, but I can't hate the thing itself. Dreams of Roses was still a great mashup and no allegations against the creator is gonna change my musical tastes.

The whole situation unfolded on Twitter, and having seen the evidence, frankly I don't blame them at all for wanting to distance themselves from the other dev. I prefer this version of the second song just for the fact that I couldn't enjoy the original Dreams of Roses without some level of guilt anymore.

I think my favorite part of this mod is the wholesome beginning (which of course suits Doki Doki Literature Club) with BF just wanting to sing with Monika and she's happy to do so. No attacks on his life. BF just was singing for fun, since even if he has to sing for his life all the time these days, BF still sings because of his passion for music. Then Senpai had to show up and ruin the fun
Dreams of roses didn't deserve to get cut from the mod. That was my favorite song in the mod...

When this mod first came out, I was happy it got a proper "final" cutscene (not counting the massive updates that followed). Nearly every FNF mod with cutscenes I've seen just stopped after the final song, no conclusion or anything. I figured it was just impossible to put a final cutscene, yet these folks did it, and I'm happy they did.
