ARGH! DAMMIT, RIGHT IN THE FEELS!! I was doing okay for awhile there during this playthrough; no real OMG! moments as I simply enjoyed a fairly predictable story, but then they had to go and get all humanity on me. Seeing Elle cry into her soup, thinking about all the shit she's been through in such a short period of time (losing the other Milla and then almost immediately afterwards, her father), and then that blank expression of complete emotional numbness. I've been at that low point where you feel like everything is completely meaningless, so seeing Elle like that just punched me right in the heart. Makes me grateful for that skit at the very end, I needed the laugh.
I know right?! When I saw the combat in the cutscenes I was surprised at how good they looked. Compare that to the newer titles and I’m disappointed at how they downgraded from that.

I pulled this off on Hard with smaller but still damaging combos and chromatus when I could and just dealt with having to dance around him a lot. What this fight doesn't show is how unbelievably intense Victor is when he's lower health, especially when he fires off his own chromatus

What I love about this game is that it's easy to see how you can full on be a pro at this game like unlock all the skills, fill all affinities to the max, select abilities on and ect. To where it's easy to understand and it's not hidden to where you need a guide. But to be a pro it takes the above average amount of time to invest. So when I see someone who really knows the game like this it really puts my investment into a perspective. On that fine line where I want to be this good and meh it's not worth it. Lol
Now I'm really interested who Elle's mother was. I wonder who fractured Ludger hooked up with. But damn, that intensely beautiful combos in the battle, mmmm...

me too. Even though I played as Normal difficulties and ate food that increases your P Attack, P Defense, A Attack , A Defense by 25%, this dude destroyed me like more than thrice... I can never pull of something that amazing even though I never really get to play many of Tales series...

Wow, I mean, I know this game had it's flaws, but this battle was just perfect. Build-up, execution, gameplay, and music, everything works marvelously. This is not only the best boss battle from any Tales game to date, which by itself is no small feat, but I'd even go so far as to call this one of the best bosses of all time.

I knew my heart was gonna sink-in during this Boss fight. Not only that, but we learn a lot, and I mean A LOT, too. Apparently, Victor is basically Ludger in the future plus of this Dimension & The Final Waymarker as well. And as explained in the last part, Elle is the Key or Kresnik too. But the fact that this Victor is a Fractured Dimension, that would mean that the Victor from the intro was from the future of the Prime Dimension. It's either that, or something else. It's kinda hard to tell. In the end however, it was just too much. And now I feel bad for Elle. Especially after seeing all this and even seeing the 2 men, including Jude, Milla & Rowen, fighting right in front of her like that. Don't know how she'll move on from that, including blaming Ludger for everything (Depending on what you choice for him to do) even if it's not his fault, but lets hope she doesn't hate Ludger for long...which she somewhat doesn't. She still have a long way to go in life, and I pray that her future, by your actions you give Ludger of course, Omega. But man, was that all intense. So far, I'm starting to see the right choices you've made thus far. I wish you Good Luck on it... which you already have by this point. Hehe! Also, a fun way to end this is some humor. The skit about Muzet ("The Truth About Muzet": Start at 22:00) and thinking she's naked the whole entire time was pretty funny to me! Good way to end this part, Omega! Whoa! We finally get to see both of Ludger's Mystic Artes for the first time. And they're called "Ritual of Destruction" (At 4:58) in his normal form & "Form Destroyer" (At 6:01) in his Chromatus form. Two powerful Artes for Ludger indeed. Glad I have him as my favorite character. Also, loved how they referenced what happened in Xillia 1 with Jude and his depression over Milla's death in the "Ludger & Elle" Skit (At 20:49). Least Milla knows of it now in this game. While sad as the situation here and in the last game was, this was still fun.

Only if I can combo like that with Ludger I would of not gotten screwed by this boss. Brought him down to 10k health and then he confuses all 4 characters and I lose. Screw confusion
