When Little James asked Jesus for healing and Jesus explained why he would not heal him, it was so healing emotionally for me with my chronic pain. It helped my acceptance.

I so like this young man his acting abilities well developed & I have 2 very close friends w/MS. What troopers they are, no whinning. B 3:22 oth in 40's & hold quite important, great jobs.

I agree. I have prayed and prayed for my left leg and knee to be healed, but it remains the same. The scene between Jesus and Little James gave me so much peace. Like the Lord was telling me I have purpose for your pain. Keep serving and loving and trust my timing. Praise God for all the ways HE speaks to us.

Been battling with kidney disease since I was 15 years old (I'm 49 now) The scene with Little James and Jesus is what made me get up and go to church!

THE BEST INTERVIEW! As a mom of an adult daughter with significant disabilities she (and I) have experienced wounds inside and outside of the faith community. God is using her challenges to conform us into the character of Christ - we are grateful to share in the fellowship of His suffering.
I was so inspired by his sequence with Jesus, that I edited it into a prayer that I pray throughout the day to pull me through my toughest agonies. It goes like this: "And Jesus said to Little James, 'Precious Little James, when you discover yourself finding true strength BECAUSE of your weakness, and when you do great things IN MY NAME, the impact will last for generations. So hold on a little longer. And remember, James, YOU WILL BE HEALED, it's only a matter of time.' 'Thank you, Master.' ' Shalom, my son.' 'Shalom' ".
My mother was born premature
She suffered with mental disorder...But she read the Bible everyday of her life....Thank you Jordan for sharing your story its always a Great Video WITH Brandon So Enjoyable 😊

I thought you were acting the limping! I love the fact that this program includes people with all they have, normal, regular people that have issues and illneses and disabilities. It make it even more inviting!!!
At 3:58 Jordan talks about Little James not screaming or freaking out at his death. But I think a number of saints/martyrs died silently. Around 258AD, St. Lawrence was condemned to a slow, cruel death; he was tied on top of a metal grill and placed over a slow fire, so that he would essentially roast to death very slowly. Lawrence, in good spirits because he was doing God's work, joked, "Turn me over, I'm done on this side!" Several hours later his last words were, "It's cooked enough now." Then he died, saying a prayer for the conversion of Rome to the Catholic faith.
And amen, it worked! His prayers, and the prayers of the other saints and their martyrdom brought Christ to the world like they could have never imagined.
Absolutely LOVE Little James! Jordan’s performance in S3E2, talking with Jesus about healing was so moving. As a person with scoliosis and type 1 diabetes, these are questions anyone with a chronic condition confronts. Excellent job Jordan! I hope we see Little James background story in S5. Thank you for this great interview!

Thank you for this interview, on behalf of not only me but my whole family. My brother and I have both been in wheelchairs our entire life. We are both in our 30s. I mention that because we have not seen a scene like that before in all of these years. Again, thank you for interviewing Jordan. Beautiful!
I can't wait to meet you in the Kingdom, where we will run and bound like deer. I don't have full functionality of my lungs, and running becomes painful very quickly. It will be amazing.

Very insightful interview. I really love Jordan's explanation of how he deals with his physical issues as a person and an actor. His portrayal has helped me personally deal with my own physical issues. It's still hard though when people make comments expecting things of me that I can't do.. they just don't understand. Last year at Chosen con I was given a special privilege and honor to meet Jordan outside the official meet and greet. I need a walker to get around and therefore identify most with him and to Little James. I would give anything to have his confidence and strength.
The way Little James acts and lives show me good days and bad days, and that frees me to be me.
I find Jordan’s portrayal of Little James so Real; his emotions shine through and I feel them too. He’s an amazing actor. ❤
I didn't recognize Jordan Walker Ross was in Black Panther Wakanda Forever until I saw him in The Chosen! Seems t be a great guy!

Wow! Brandon, what a great interview with Jordan! I love Jordan and how he plays Little James! And the fact that Jordan himself has gone through so much with his disability, he has such a great attitude about it! His life story is similar to my daughter because she was born six weeks early and has Cerebral Palsy too and she uses her wheelchair to get around! She too, struggles with why God didn't heal her too, and I think with Jordan's life story as with Little James that God chooses not to heal everybody but sometimes God uses their disability to bless others around them! So, I say, Thank you Jordan for being the person you are and blessing others around you! I wish my daughter could meet you so that you could encourage her too! I am also disabled and his story line has changed my own perspective of myself. I give thanks to God for each day that I can still walk. I am very slow compared to Little James lol. Great Interview. I really enjoyed this interview with Jordan Walker Ross.
People confuse me sometimes. I was in line at the grocery store... long line. No one was talking with each other. I turned and saw a man in a wheelchair right behind me. I asked him "So what did you do to get yourself in that chair?" The lady behind him was shocked and said "Oh my God". The guy laughed and said "I was driving recklessly & wrecked my car". We carried on the conversation all the while the lady was beside herself. Now, the guy actually thanked me for being kind enough to chat with him because people tend to ignore him. He asked why I did start talking with him and I told him "Well, we were all quiet & waiting so I just turned and started talking with him because he was the first person behind me. I had already tried talking with the person in front but that person didn't carry it forward. So I turned. He was there and the first thing popped into my head was Hey, what happened to you dude? Since it was busy & a long line a worker/checker from the bakery came over and asked the guy if he wanted her to check him out over by the bakery. BUT she asked him in a 'child like voice'. He looked at me like "That's how people talk to me. Did you hear her talking to me like I am a baby". I rolled my eyes saying "Yeah, dumb." But I said "Take advantage of the offer. Better than waiting any longer". He went for it. That meant the lady behind him got to move forward. She said to me "I can't believe you asked him that. So rude." I just turned around and gave her my back.

This was an amazing interview! Loved how he got his healing because it shows a lot of times God gives us what we need and it looks way different than how we think it should come or look.
Also, I have a son with chronic back pains and hearing his story has helped me open up to thinking about him getting the spinal surgery, as well.

Just the same when someone is dying and you know he will get a new body but that doesn’t matter you still want them to live and we grieve. And blame God that he didnt bring hem back to life

Iam paralysed myself and pray for a miracle of healingso I could identify myself with this scene and hearing Jesus explaining thisseveraltimes in my case
I went through the history, and James the Younger suffered the worst death of any of the apostles, and both he and Matthew died around the same time. It really made me sad to think that Matthew saw Mary for the last time in the show, before his own tragic death in Ethiopia. The real little James was thrown off of a tower (possibly David's Tower in Jerusalem) but he survived the fall, and was then beaten with clubs until he died.
Not sure if someone already mentioned this but right around the 4:18-23 mark in the interview he mentioned about James becomes the bishop of Jerusalem…wasn’t it James, Jesus’ half brother that became a leader in the church council?

Interesting I suffer from mental health issues such as anxiety and stress (mild autism) but I dismiss this part of me... To still be content I guess with what God has given me... Or I SHOULD say- left me with? Yeah...
Same here, possibly in part due to having very controlling/bullying/mocking/deriding family members. As I get older my introversion is becoming more evident and whilst I am embracing it and seeing it as a superpower, or trying to, thanks to Daniel’s superb addressing of this subject on Mossy Bottom a few years ago, the bullies in my family see it as something that needs fixing, ie to make you more like them! ❤
When you see Little James and Mary Magadline together they remind me like brother and sister, they already know what the other is thinking.

Wait…what was unbiblical about something praying for Jordan to be healed? ?
The unbiblical part comes from people who force themselves on Jordan. If he was asking for prayer, that's a different story, but for someone to come and assume what it is that needs to be fixed about you and then pray for that thing. It's extremely selfish, even though it comes off as caring.

I’m almost certain that James the Less was not the Bishop but James the Just (Jesus’ brother). Please research this….
