I grew up on avenue 60s through 80s. Good memories. Fantastic weather. A great place to be a kid back in the day.

The prices are outrageous!
We understand that the prices may seem high when compared with other states and non-costal cities. However, when comparing to other costal cities the Westside runs on the lower end. With so many people wanting to live close to the beach it does cost a premium. The prices have only increased during the Pandemic but are starting to stabalize now. With some homes starting to sell for below asking price currently.

You cant pay me to live off the avenue. Homeless and crime. No!!! We lived on the east end a more quiet area.
What part of the East End? It is a lot quieter on that side of Ventura. Some people have told us that there were more homeless people in midtown. What have you experienced? We always love to hear from people who live in an area. Thank you for your comment.
