over the weekend listening to a lot of Bob Marley DUB music which intern reminded me of some music. I listen to a lot as a teenager in Nairobi and at one point my first UB40 album was a double album called signing off and I like the lot I think I got that in 1981 and I like you before you ever since and this weekend I spent a lot of time revisiting that music that album and I even made a playlist for myself on Apple Music and I’m going to share a song I like a lot like a lot: and you can see and appreciate how this music has been influence so much by the Islanders, rainbow country, the reggae greats: we can see you and appreciate how the British Isles, or so much under the spelling of rainbow country and reggae and Rastaman :)
Lyrics There's no-one coming with that freedom train. There's nowhere you can go where you feel no pain. Take the blinkers off you eye's, The power is in your hand. Stop waiting for your ticket to the promised land. There ain't no heaven and there ain't no hell. Except the one we're in, and you know to well There's no-one waiting on, Waiting on a higher high. Don't let the only world you're ever gonna live in pass you by. There's no-one coming with that freedom train.
There's nowhere you can go where you feel no pain.

Except the one we're in, and you know to well
There's no-one waiting on,
Waiting on a higher high.
Don't let the only world you're ever gonna live in pass you by.
