@@CryptoJar I saw a bunch of frequently asked questions thread with a bunch of people that wanted to know why there funds were lost through the Kaspa web wallet. I am looking for a place to store my Kaspa due to kucoin not supporting US customers kyc starting on July 15. Just doin. My research before I move my Kaspa
Not "many" and the reason is they chose to click on a nefarious link in a Google search and entered their seeds and password. ALWAYS click on links from official sites and ALWAY check the URLs! The wallet it's self has never seen funds lost.
Tried to send 3 different amounts . Ending with 500 Kaspa from the Kaspa web wallet and each time after putting in password it told me my transaction size was to large. I was sending to simpleswap to i could convert to a sellable token. Any work around ? Thank you
What is the difference between the web wallet and the desktop wallet? Is the Web wallet strictly online as In you can access it from any computer where as the desktop is dedicated to your laptop? With the later if something happens to your laptop as in the hardrive goes could you potentially lose all your Kaspa?
You got it right , the web wallets are online and can be accessed anywhere, they have had security issues so keep that in mind. With the KDX wallet just keep your secret phrase somewhere safe. If anything happens to your PC you can recover your funds with it.
stupid question, I want to mine kaspa, can I hook up my MacBook to it everyone and again to check on it or do it need a dedicated computer/laptop to run it? many thanks in advance
0 trust in a webwallet. Until this coin gets Trust Wallet, Atomic or Exodus I am out. Tnx. Great mining potential btw.. Thank you for the video, Is there a way for me to add this coin to Trust wallet and a s&it coin?
Yeah I get your concern with web wallets. You also have the KDX wallet which allows you to hold it locally. I don't believe trustwallet or metamask can hold it yet. Tangem is a low cost hardware wallet that can.
Many people are losing funds through the web wallet, caution, to use
Really? I didn't know that, when did this happen?

@allenvincent5741 I am also just starting this research. Where did you decide was the best place to store your KAS?
I compounded and Kaspa issued a new wallet address - I mined to the old address, unknowingly. Anyway to get this back?
you said that you would LINK the other ways of doing in the links below, where is it
ya i completely forgot to do it, and now its done: th-cam.com/video/Sc4Wi3LM9SY/w-d-xo.html

Has anyone used this wallet. Is it safe ?
It sounds like many people have lost their funds through this web wallet. I wouldn’t use it.

The web wallet is not safe
Ofc it is safe
Also people loose Funds in meta mask
which is more safer kdx desktop wallet or this web wallet.
i think the KDX would be the safest, because its completely under your control. I am posting a video on that wallet soon
Both have 12 words so the security is exact the Same
Everything Else is FUD based on not knowing how wallets work
