    I am 100 percent sure you are my comfort TH-camr. I watched you when life was amazing, confusing, and everything in between. Now that I don’t even buy K-beauty products, I still had to click on it just to at least hear a bit of you. Thank you for all your comforting energy. Much love.

    Thanks, Kelly, for doing a deep dive into the ingredients for us. Deciphering between 2 products that look almost exactly the same is difficult for us mere mortals. I always love your reviews because you examine the how and why something does, or doesn't, work.

    I tried both and for me the torriden was only hydrating but numbuzin gives more hydrating + moisturizing throughout the day/night! so if you're living in a dry area like me, numbuzin is probs better!

    HA has become such a contentious ingredient in the industry. Some people seems to be very against it, others recommends it. I'd love to hear your thoughts and what HA does personally for your skin. Personally, I've been avoiding it just because claims that it could dry out skin overtime scares me as someone who's struggling with dehydration and weak moisture barrier.

    • @AliceBunny05
      @AliceBunny05 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      HA just seems to be one of those ingredients that works well for some people and not for others. The only way to know how you feel is to try it really, which is the case with a lot of skincare related issues. Niacinamide is also this way to some extent, though in it's case I've also seen severalll people who've only tried niacinamide at 10% and then they say it dosen't get along with their skin, when it's really just that not many people can tolerate 10% niacinamide with zero irritation. I don't think anyone should ever really be "against" an ingredient unless it's genuinely harmful, everyone's skin is different and skincare is far from "one size fits all." Some people can't use snail mucin, some people have allergies to certain plant extracts, at the end of the day the only way to really know is to test it. You can try and guess until the cows come home, but I'm sure everyone who's bought a lot of skincare in their life can tell you that you end up loving products you didn't think you would, and being disappointed by ones you thought you'd love.

    You can recommend serums and essences/lotions that are very hydrating.

  • @curryisgood6103

    I own both and torriden wins. Its a solid good hydration serum. No 6 on the other site makes your skin look glass like but I didnt feel the deep deep hydration. I bought it around 2 months ago and only used it twice. Kinda already shows I dont love it but I will test it out more and maybe my mind changes. I bought it because I dont buy sheet mask for enviromental reasons.

    Hi can u please help me in choosing a product? I'm using azelaic acid 20% 3 times per week and about to end my accutane for acne, will start topical retinoids 3 times per week, i wanna incorporate some serum or very lightweight product along my prescription strength treatments without further irritating the skin, will I'm from rice toner be a right choice in this scenario?
    Also this toner has niacinamide and the sunscreen I'm gonna use, skin 1004 hyalu cica also has niacinamide so will it be sensitising?

      I didn't like the I'm From Rice Toner. I didn't find it hydrating or moisturizing. It burned my skin. It wasn't bad but bad enough for me not want to use it. I also could feel it sitting on my skin. Dr Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence is wonderful. You don't need much so a bottle last a long time. It's hydrating but also moisturizing.

    • @maeduss
      @maeduss 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@paulayarbrough6930I like the I’m From Rice Toner! One weird thing to note is that, occasionally, it does burn. I have no idea why! I feel like it happens the most in these 2 occasions: either when my skin is already irritated by something else (a breakout, a fresh cut or etc) or whenever I recently cried before using it (then it specifically burns around the eyes, which I’m sure it’s the toner bc doesn’t happen with other products of my routine when used alone, such as Cetaphil moisturizing lotion, Bepanthen cleanser and BOJ ginseng essence)! I don’t really get it! I’m now looking for another rice toner/ essence to try, but I find the ones Ik to have very little rice water percentages for my ideal… Maybe I just end up giving up on rice water. Nobody asked, but essentially, I just started using it because I saw that a rural East Asian (Chinese, I guess) had the most preserved hair color and skin because, according to their claims, to the rice water. I live a busy city life, so making my own is not an option to me… The toner sounded sweet, but I guess I’m “maturing” in the skincare world and maybe understanding that there’s nothing good a rice water can provide for a skin that uses the 3 basics and retinol (I can be wrong, but I’m starting to believe there’s really no room for improvement directly related to the rice for someone with that routine)!
      Sorry for the long comment! Stay safe!
