    What could have been of Djokovic without ATP/ITF, Media and crowds against him all of his career, without the covid idiocy (discounting weeks at N ° 1 from him while freezing the rankings with him at the top spot in 2020, banning him of multiple majors and masters between 2020 and 2022) or without his gluten intolerance and asthma, both conditions which caused injuries, lack of breath, unhealthy fitness and, hence, retirements from some matches in his younger years... what kind of freaking BEAST would we all be talking about if he treated those conditions earlier in his career, or better, if he never had those hurdles...

    • @jwt-nu3ei

      You could do the 'ifs' for all 3. Federer - "what if he was 5 years younger", Nadal - "what if his body had held up for another 5 years", Djokovic - "what if covid hadn't happened". You could even ask "what IF a player the calibre of a 24 y/o Djokovic / Federer / Nadal joined the tour in 2018" or "what if Murray didn't fuck up his off season when he finally became world number 1" (does Federer still have his resurgence in 2018?). etc.

    Why are the portrait images mirrored in the thumbnail and in the video? Nike logo and text mirrored, I don't see any reason. Looks weird. Good video regardless.

    since im new to tennis, i love andy and i see people always disrespect him! what do you think about him being in this 'big 4'?

    • @tennisfordummies
      @tennisfordummies  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi, thanks for your feedback. I have never felt Andy was disrespected- at least not by his pairs or journalists, nor specifically in public opinion, but maybe your experience is different. They called a "Big 4" because Andy, in spite of only having 3 slams, reached lots of finals. However ultimately his achievements are objectively quite far from what the Big 3 achieved. Still this doesn't cease to make him an absolute legend of the game and a model of abnegation and passion for the sport. Along with a great advocate of women tennis and amazing punch liner :D

    Djokovic-Nadal: 60(31-29), Djokovic-Federer: 50(27-23) and Nadal-Federer; 40(24-16) That's 60-50-40. Tennis statistics of the Big3 are so perfect they don't need to be rounded.

    Not five majors but five other players won nine since 2004 till 2020 Covid: Safin, Murray 3 Wawrinka 3 and Cilic and Del Potro. After that: Thiem, Medvedev, Alcaraz and Sinner. And before 2004, Federer won his first major in 2003, with Ferrero, Agassi and Roddick

    That was fun and accurate, exept the part about the Nextgen, Raonic , Dimitrov and Nishikori have never been part of this marketing.
    It started only with the zverev tsitsipass medvedev thiem era etc...
