great look and finish, i'd like to see the climb down routine. that is the sketchy part with these i expect.
I found out it’s actually “eat your cake and have it too” haha. They’ve gone up so much. $500-600 now. It’s annoying the black one costs more also.
How load bearing are they, will they take a 15 stone guy going up and down without bending the door metal?

Can you still use your key on the door? Looks like it may not fit anymore. I would not be putting it on the driver's side because it looks like it would interfere with license plate visibility, don't want to get a ticket.

Anything can be stolen by a hard working crook. I’ve had mine for about 3 years and it’s still on the van (knock on wood).

My concern too. They can only be stolen with the back door open. The ladders you bolt in could probably be unscrewed also and stolen easier…ie one that attaches to a roof rack
$700 now. There's got to be a way to build a cheaper one.
