Thank you for the video. I picked up this ladder and it is really a solid unit. Did you ever figure out what that odd shaped black piece is that has a hole in the middle of it? You mentioned it at around the three minute and 29 second marker your video. I have the same thing but have not a clue What is for. Thank you, be safe and well.

Thanks, its really a great addition to our van, yes i figured out what the triangles are for, they slide in a groove at the bottom of the magnetic piece and you can hang stuff from the tabs, kinda like if your not useing the ladder you can slide those triangle in and hang a trash bag or a light or something from it, i think they will hold 5lbs each

I think you can, as long as the vehicle is metal that gives the base a place to stick and then use the ladder at what ever height. I think it would work well for you!
