Sansai is the failure of shotokan. For trying to win against Shito/Goju/Ryuei Shotokan players had to learn a Kata from another Ryu instead to improve their own ones...
So what’s your point? It’s ok for shito-ryu players to perform ryuei and goju katas and vice versa, which has been done for the longest time, but Shotokan players performing gensei-ryu and vice versa is not? Your argument is a straw man fallacy.
It is the failure of the system for not being able to comprehend the difficulty of shotokan katas instead of focusing on decorational facades displayed in the current competitions.
