    I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 for 10 years. I just returned from Buenos Aires Argentina on a 4 month tour. I stayed in the San Telmo neighborhood. I rented a furnished one bedroom apartment with everything included for around 650 dollars a month. It was awesome.

      How did you find that place?

    • @markrush2319
      @markrush2319 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @jugoslav51 well the easiest way is to just walk around the neighborhood that you want to live in and meet people you will find people that will be willing to help or rent an airbnb or a hotel room for about a month. Look on the internet for owners who actually own the apartments that they are renting. Remember, this advice is for someone planning a long-term stay in Buenos Aires, not for a short-term tourist stay in Buenos Aires.

    200 USD a meal at a decent restaurant.... ?? That is not true at all !! In fact it might just be a 5/6 %, what is to say 10 to 12 USD...

      In Buenos Aires, there are all kinds of cost structures. If you wanted to spend 200 dollars American for a meal, I am sure you can find a restaurant quite willing to take your money 💰. I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina for 10 years, and I never spent over 25 dollars for a meal. They were very fancy restaurants in my opinion 😅

      Evidently, you didn't take the time to read my comment. I said that there is a price range for anyone you can find hotels in Buenos Aires that go for a thousand dollars a night US. I never spent over 25 dollars for a restaurant meal in Buenos Aires, but you can certainly spend 200 dollars for a meal in Buenos Aires if that is your lifestyle.

      @@markrush2319 True, though to spend U$S 200 for a meal you have to go to a Top 10 restaurant and order an aged Top Grand Reserve argentine wine or a french one

    We are curious to see if , as a retired couple, we could live a modest yet comfortable life on $2000/month, in an area where we could live without a car.
    We also think we may like a place like Bariloche as we love cool/cold weather. Guessing Bariloche would be much cheaper….25% maybe ?
    We speak Spanish and currently live a very comfy life in Nicaragua on about $1100/month, not budgeting at all.
