    what is the timeframe or distance from the beginning of the service rd to whistler, how many hours, I don't recall you mentioning and it would be good info to know.

    • @BackCountryQuestCanada
      @BackCountryQuestCanada  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jimpickett2185 Distance is about 185 km it’s just the rough as I have another video which is just drive video and I have posted distance in that video. We took all day as we stopped a lot long the way. But I guess about 4-5 hours on easy pace plus it depends on how much you stop along the way.

    Should kill music, your son was talking and your music drowned him out, it's not necessary to have the music

    This is a great video! I've travelled along the north part of this FSR from Pemberton to T'sek hot springs but I've been really wanting to go all the way through, hopefully some time soon. I think that 55km bridge may be out again as of May 2022 however. I've been checking the government map site and really looking forward to giving this one a try, thanks so much!

    • @BackCountryQuestCanada

      55 km bridge was newly built it should have survived those floods but even if you have to turn around it’s worth the drive .

    Some parts are damn scary with how loose the gravel is! You got balls of steel sir!

      Yes after 42 km there is a stretch right and rough also alone the river after crossing the bigger bridge. Every body need to remember “Speed thrills but kills”

      No brother I read before details and make notes before leaving . It’s more fun exploring that way but these days many map options available too.

      Thank you for your kind words.
      We need to keep our forest and landscapes clean and in good shape. We have lost access to many beautiful places because they were not well kept.

    Nice video, I have driven this route a few times and was thinking of making a video also. Just watched yours and nicely done. Keep them videos coming my friend. I also highly recommend 10 ply tires. First a blew my 4 ply tire climbing over a rock. BTW, you missed a beautiful campsite area on the left side right on Lilloet Lake.

      Many years ago on my first trip on this road, I came across a cyclist around 50 + km I believe I have mentioned about him in this video too.

    look like the road is good enough for a car? is this passable with a car?

    • @BackCountryQuestCanada
      @BackCountryQuestCanada  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it’s not , yes you can do first section but after that there are few Km which need absolute more clearance and 4x4 is a plus . Check this video after 42 km .

    Paji did you see any deer on the route and what is the starting location and end to put on GPS

    • @BackCountryQuestCanada
      @BackCountryQuestCanada  ปีที่แล้ว

      Harman veer if you listen to the video it has directions in it. I have not used gps for this trip. Basically you take morris valley road from lougheed highway all the way to end where this FSR starts.
