- In this video I tell you how to make one of the most overpowered bleed build in Elden Ring!
To put Seppuku on both weapons, just duplicate the Ash of War at the blacksmith.
Seppuku can be found by heading east from the Freezing Lake Grace and killing the Teardrop Scarab.
The White Mask is obtained by following the White-Faced Varre questline until you reach the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum where you will be invaded by a Nameless White Mask three times and upon killing them you will recieve the War Surgeon Set which includes the White Mask. Do not invade Varre or kill the Lord of Blood until you have the White Mask or you will not be invaded anymore.
The Lord Of Blood's Exultation is a reward for killing Esgar, Priest of Blood in the Lydendell Catacombs in the sewers underneath the Royal Capital. From the Underground Roadside Grace in the Subterranean Shunning Grounds, head down the ladder on the right then look for pipes to keep dropping down to where the giant Lobsters are. The entrance to the catacombs will be next to the sleeping Lobster.
The Winged Sword Insignia is a reward for killing the Cleanrot Knight boss in the Stillwater Cave below the Grace after Stormveil and the Rotton Winged Sword Insignia is the reward for finishing Milicents questline that ends just before the Drainage Channel Grace in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. You must beat a pustule miniboss before helping Milicent defeat her sisters.
Fire's Deadly Sin is found at the Windmill Heights southeast overlook BUT HAS BEEN PATCHED SINCE VERSION 1.03

For those confused on switching weapons. It's the same as one handing one weapon but opposite button.
Example: Playstation: Triangle + R1 for the right, Triangle +L1 for left.

great video! idk why it took me forever to learn how to have the bleed buff on both weapons for anyone that doesnt know you do need seppuku on both weapons but you apply it to the left hand first then go duel wield then use seppuku again and it will be on both weapons!

You dual wield the left hand weapon use the buff then stop dual wielding then apply the buff again. The way you typed it your gonna lose the 1st buff.
@@dutchdoes1939 nah he's right, you're thinking 2 hand. If you duel wield the swords both are out; so applying to left (2 handing left hand and using weapon art) then dual wield and apply buff again it will apply it to the right.
I prefer having bloodhound step on right hand and cast bloodflame or any blade effect you like on the right hand, or bloodhound step bleed affinity

I want to make a blood magic strength build and this is where I shall start my journey (fast hard-hitting shots that cause bleed, while also being a massive threat at distance sniping shit with crystal shards)

I personally prefer power standing the Reduvias, they're nutty as. Usually 1 press of the L1 bursts players health down and a second L1 finishes them.
I actually love the Reduvia. I personally got way more out of just having a great knife dagger as my second weapon and scaling it to frost, frost and bleed are a very good combo. The main benefit of the reduvia in my eyes is the ranged bleed attack and you only need one for that haha
If you wamt to use dual blades, there's one with natural bleed that can have an ash of war. It's called scavenger sword and it's in mount Gelmir. I think it has less damage, but even more bleed build-up
yeah once you blood scale a weapon it doesn't matter what it's initial bleed was from my testing. I tried a few and they all just went to the same bleed after scaling them
Godskin Peelers have a max bleed build up of 143.
I love how elden ring gives you all these items to make crazy combos and to all these builds
The more I play it (especially late game) the more I dont even think most of these crazy builds are "broken". The game ramps up so hard you kind of need to be broken and luckily the game just lets you be in multiple ways haha

When I started elden ring I also wanted to do a bleed build especially since the last time I played ds3 I did a semi luck build. It’s was way too cheesy all that bleed. It Was broken I think I will get the ending I want and respec my main later.

Yeah I pretty much went with anything that wasn't katanas because everyone was using them haha
There is also a tear that increases damage when attacking consecutively. This stacks with the talisman.

@@MrDrakezilla Yes and also there are talismans that greatly increase your carrying capicity and one that increases attack power based on equip load so righjt now with your build, the tear flask, incantation buffs + double seppuku I have 1200 dmg shown
@@rororrrororr7598 Oh yeah I actually messed around with the attack power and equip load stuff, definitely did something but I think I needed stats from a soreseal at the time so never gave it a proper go
been liking the build with the uchi's!!
My mate used it with uchis and was loving it, I personally thingk the curved swords work better just on pure proc bleed time but much more range!
i use the scavengers curved sword on the offhand with seppuku and blood scaling, and my main hand is a bandits curved sword keen scaling with bloodgrease
good combo! I have since moved to dual bandits curved swords as they have the highest damage output it seems but scavengers is definitely nice for messing with alternative options like having it scaled to frost or something and still have the innate bleed etc

fun fact, you can kill the majority of those little creatures before the enterance to those birds, then draw the bird back there where you can use your summon to help out

You could also kill melisia at the end of her quest line and get another that stacks with damage over time. and it gives you dex as well
yeah I was doing her questline so didn't kill her and got the needle instead but might (regretfully) bop her on my current playthrough
Occult scales the best with arcane, but sick build. Gon’ try to make a hybrid using this.
Fair but the point of the build is the bleed stacks no? Doesnt the weapon build up bleed faster if infused with bleed?
@@GoldenArcadia I’m not so sure as I haven’t really gotten into late game yet, but such high arc stats with seppuku should be able to proc bleed efficiently enough. And the 10% attack along with other bonuses should work better if the damage scales with arcane.
can make this build even nuttier, if you get the Thorny Cracked Tear from the erdtree boss in the Consecrated Snowfield zone you can get additional consecutive attack boost when chugging your physick flask, on top of using the Ritual Sword Talisman that increases dmg at full HP, got my damage to 1179 with those 2 extra things using a +25 Uchigatana @lvl 126, 42 dex/42 arc.

I actually somehow missed that Erdtree and stumbled across it today and got the tear, that would definitely help heaps. I thought about the ritual sword talisman originally but as seppuku takes health I figured it was counter intuitive but you're right, a heal would set you at higher damage. (I'm not really good enough to not get hit also haha)
Dual twin blades with seppuku, and the raptor’s black feathers work better cuz when u jump attack u instantly bleed them cuz its 4 hits so i do crazy critical with all of then
I do 4 hits on my running attack with dual falchions, quicker and easier to do than jump attack though I have tested two twin blades and its definitely amazing

Millicent's prosthesis is a better version of the rotten winged sword talisman and stacks together - you can get it by killing Millicent after getting the rotten winged sword talisman.

@@MrDrakezilla yeah, you can also get the flock canvas talisman after her quest by going back to gowry and killing him

awesome build! also, there's a curved sword called scavenger's curved sword that has a passive bleed build up, dual wielding those might yield to better results.
I actually tested these I think, when you scale to bleed it doesn't seem to matter if it had bleed on it already or not, they came out same bleed buildup on either so I went with the falchions because I had a few of them haha
@@MrDrakezilla this is very true. Now if you wanted to infuse them keen you could put bloodflame on them for higher AR as well as probably around 100 bleed per hit. Seppoku on bleed infused weapon is your best bet.

@@trashc4nn actually not a bad idea, with seppuku on them you dont even need high bleed build up, the seppuku does it for you so more raw damage on top of all the buffs might be a good play
@@tokyoocean not sure, I think at some point its mostly subjective on what's "best" but there definitely might be way to push out more damage using inherent bleed and scaling to keen rather than blood scaling something
Im not sure if itll be on her body, but i chopped millicent down once she was at the end of her quest line and got her talisman which buffs dex and gives more damage with successive hits. You can equip it along with the winged sword talisman.
yeah if you kill her you apparently get the talisman but dont get the needle. No way I was going to kill her though, maybe ever. She's one of my favourite characters in the game haha

If you like curved swords you might want to try out power stancing beastmans blood curved sword. My base dex is 12 as I started confessor but with 55 strength and 12 dex my +19 blood beastmans curved sword is at 198+206 due to it having a B scaling in strength.
Man, the amount of weapons and builds I want to try is staggering haha. This would be one for sure

@@librom5891 yeah I used frost and bleed for my daggers up until I found sepukku. The raw damage increase was too good to pass up haha but mixing frost would definitely be a viable alternative. Things are so weak when they're frozen!

What is that chest piece you have on?
Which one? Well, I'll tell you both. One set is the scaled armor, which you get from the first invasion quest at volcano manor, the other set is alberich's robe, which is the guy that invades you if you jump off the balcony in stronghold. I believe if you kill him in the invasion, then go to the same room in the lyendell capital, the set will be there. That's where I found it and I had killed his invasion so I assume thats it.

I killed the boss in the area, is there any way I could still get the white mask?
I wish I had good news but as far as I could figure out; no. I got a friend to drop it for me because I already killed the boss, too.
What weapons and items should I use in the early game, until I can get seppuku for example
Personally I used reduvia and a great knife dagger but otherwise I'd say any curved sword with bleed or katanas etc until you find a blood ash/the right whetstone to scale anything you wanted to bleed.
where do you find the contraption to open the boss room in the sewers?
Oh that is a guide in itself haha. My memory of the dungeon is there's two jebait loops that make you think its the first bit of the dungeon you go through. Once you hit the second jebait loop you'll need to ride the fire pillar up to get to the switch. I really hope I'm thinking of the right dungeon haha
I was looking for a good bleed build and this one's great! Question: did you invest in arcane stat I heard it scales with bleed as well...

ah yeah I probably should have talked about the stats to be honest, first time making any fromsoft content so just showed them and didn't think much more on it. My bad, yes Arcane is the stat the scales bleed so more arcane generally equals more bleed. I believe most of the time you scale something to bleed, it also just derives some of its scaled damage from arcane as well. Either way, bleed does need arcane yes haha
Just saying 40 is a really good Arcane stat no need to go for 50
@@sunlight7100 I mean i dont want or need any other stats, i literally dont even level up with my runes. I just go buy as much shit as possible from whoever I can find then lose them whenever I die twice haha. Plus I tested various stat points and 50 was the piont I noticed the diminishing returns so left it there. You're not wrong, but i dont have anything else to put the stats into anyway haha
arcane only increases bleed build up not the actual damage of the bleed proc. Also worth mentioning that your weapon needs the arcane affinity to actually improve bleed build up
can you use whatever weapon you want with the same moveset of the falchion or this one is the best choice?
I think it'll work with pretty much any weapons that will let you put seppuku on them tbh but the curved sword moveset is really good for getting bleed to proc
How essential is Fire's deadly sin for the build? I have everything else needed, but I beat the game before getting that incantation and don't want to commit to the respec if its a necessary component.
Not needed at all if you don't want to do the bleed AOE!
I was thinking about trying dual rapiers for this build but not sure if they would compete with the falcions speed. What's the stat spread looking like?
I honestly think it'll work with nearly any dual weapon build that lets you put seppuku on it but I do think the falchions moveset (especially the sprint L1) is incredibly good for proccing bleed haha. I did some testing with stats passed 50 but honestly I had like 65dex and 60arc or something and did 20 more damage than if I just kept the stats at 50. Maybe i'm missing something but I think just go 50 on stats you want. I do actually think you NEED vigor in this game compared to previous fromsoft games so I also don't think ignore vigor at all (which is what i'd usually do haha). Sorry if this isn't what you meant by the question, I tend to rant.

what's the affinity for the seppuku btw? poison or blood? since poison it increased 1 blood loss buildup while the blood reduce 8 of blood loss buildup
Pretty sure it's blood? I think you can scale occult as well but not sure about poison at all
will all of these effects gonna apply to mimic summon too?
So far I haven't seen him use seppuku but I dont use my mimic much, but once something bleeds I imagine he gains the attack power bonuses. Worth testing tbh

Not that I know of. I couldn't get the nameless white mask npc to invade me anymore and he is the only way to get the white mask in the game that I know of
its best with Scavenger curved swords because they get the moveset and speed of scimitars plus the bleed of a jagged edged blade.
Not sure how this could work but if you could figure out how to get bloodfire on the left and seppuku on the right while you're on fire it might work better. just a possibility, idk. I've heard the Tumblebuff glitch still exists but have never done it myself.
Once you blood scale a weapon it doesn't matter what its original bleed was, so using a weapon that already has bleed doesn't make the bleed better after blood scaling
@@MrDrakezilla it might not matter what the innate bleed was but the speed of the weapon helps.
@@sanguinetales falchions are basically the same moveset? I mean you're not wrong, any weapon will work with bleed but it only truly shines on fast weapons. Not sure your point overall though sorry
@@MrDrakezilla Well for damage i think its the bandit curve swords and for speed its probably the scav swords, not quite sure but whichever curved sword is the lightest will swing fastest
I feel like my stuff doesn't scale right at all I have the same build just with uchis instead and like 50 arcane and 107 bleed build up but it still takes forever to hit bleed on people

it's up to you but you can't use seppuku on the moonveil right? One seppuku is still really damn good but youll bleed things much faster with two weapons coated. Really just depends if you want to use moonviel heaps or not
Might have missed something but how are you using fire's deadly sin with 14 faith? I believe it requires 19.

The white armour? Its mostly the scaled armour (which you get from the first invasion from volcano manor i think) but my arm peice is the skull guys arms from stronghold for the hp regen on low health

Can i still get the lord of blood exultation even though i am in ashen capital instead of royal capital?
oh yeah should be fine, there will be a hole not far from the ash capital grace that drops down into the shunning grounds then you can go down to the catacombs and beat the boss
You can hit like 700 attack using rivers of blood+7 with 50 arcane and minimum dex. That's without the rotten insignia too
oh yeah for sure, a lot of different things can work with this especially since the scaling was fixed but this particular build is solely concerned with proccing bleed on yourself for the buffs and then bleeding things to keep up the buff so you pretty much have to use a non somber weapons to use it properly (so you can have seppuku) and my damage numbers weren't really the point, just how they rose as the weapons weren't maxed. Ive seen people with my build getting over 1000 per weapon easily haha. But I did play around with rivers of blood and malenias sword and just used rivers to proc bleed and the damage is like 1200+ per weapon at some points with the right talismans and tears which was fun

arcane doesn't effect the bleed DAMAGE, that's a percentage of the targets health but arcane does effect the bleed BUILD UP rate, as long as the weapon is scaled to blood.

It's a shield you can mix into the Wonderous Flask of Physick that just tanks a single hit for you
Is the dual falchion power stance faster than the katanas? That's what screws me every time, the dual katana is so slow imo
I think so, its honestly painful for me to watch how slow katanas are to both hit and proc bleed but people claim they are better to me so I don't know haha
i made a simmular curved sword bleed build but i choose a couple of thing diffrent and im able to put put over 1118 dmg with each weapond with only
flask of fondrous physick and seppuku as buffs

Something I cannot find for the like of me. How do you get a SECOND of the SAME weapon? How do I get TWO of the black blades? Currently I only have one
either farming or NG+. some weapons can only be obtained once per playthrough, others can be farmed from enemies (which is why I originally used falchions, because I had 2 from killing enemies that drop falchions) but have since farmed for various curved swords. By black blade do you mean malikeths? that's a boss weapon and I dont think it lets you get two even if you duplicate the rememberence. You'd have to get that on NG+.
You can get a friend to drop you weapons as well of course using the "leave" option on items.
question for you! does the arcane affect the bleed-out rate, or increase it? I have a dex/faith bleed build now, but id like more dmg
Arcane effects the bloodless build-up rate. So just how fast you will proc bleed. Blood scaling does add arc to the scaling so it probably effects raw damage as well but not sure on that
@@MrDrakezilla last I heard, arcane damage scaling is still broken. When it’s fixed bleed might just be even more powerful
@@MrDrakezilla I my personal testing arcane has no effect on the actual blood loss build up, and instead it just makes the weapons raw damage output scale with arcane.

@@B.MoneyJr0 wierd, mine definitely increased. Over 110 hours my bleed build up constantly kept increasing on all the weapons I used as I leveled up?

Would scimitars be better than falchions for this build and max rank? Same moveset so not as slow as say Nagakiba/Uchi which I tried and dont care for, but
Scimitar +25 has 217 base DBD Str/Dex/Arc Scaling vs
Falchion + 25 with 223 base CCD Str/Dex/Arc Scaling
This is of course with blood infusions. Im betting the 6 base dmg loss is more than made up for by B dex scaling at 50 dex
I dont have access to +25 pairs of both to test but I may rock the Scimitars once i farm up a second one

Not that I know of. The build will still work without, its probably the least of the buffs
i can't put seppuku on both my weapons, because when I put it on my second weapon, it removes it from my first, do I need NG+ to get the second seppuku for this build to work?

I’ll be stealing this build. Although I’m not sure if my katanas would be better. I have my katanas maxed out and my damage is about 560 base. Downside is maxed it reaches 81 blood loss, but those reach 100. Wonder if I go raw damage and lower blood procs or lower damage and fast procs
I’ll probably go with those weapons for enemies that bleed and katanas for ones that don’t
@@ShibaApex yeah for anything that bleeds I do believe curved sword movesets are MUCH better. They just hit so often so fast, you proc the bleed like crazy, especially the sprinting L1 move). For things that don't bleed, a frost/bleed katana combo would be very very nice (bleed katana just to seppuku and proc the damage buffs)

I’m like early - mid game so I can’t get the sepuku ash of war, is there any other ashes of war that would work?
I don't think any of the other blood ashes actually bleed you when you use them, that's one reason why seppuku is so good. Just using the buff activates the mask and the talisman damage increase because it comes up with "bloodloss". But I mean, if you're a bleed build it's still worth using everything without seppuku because at least once you bleed something you'll have all damage increases

I recently switched to a bleed build similar to yours, but I'm struggling to kill bosses who don't bleed. Do you have a recommendation for any dex weapons that may be useful for these kinds of enemies?
Stack arcane and use dragon communion incantations in your left hand and a bleed weapon like reduvia on right.
Personally I found just scaling my left hand weapon to frost worked on virtually everything that didn't bleed. Giving an enemy frostbite ruins their resistances/stamina etc and you do a tonne more damage on them. And if its your offhand that has the frost damage, you can still use seppuku on the right hand and gain the attack power bonuses from it and the white mask and lord of bloods exultation which basically nearly doubles your raw damage output. Once they're frostbitten, you'll do a tonne more damage. I managed to get through a couple of tough fights just scaling my left hand weapon to cold instead of bleed. I did do a bit of testing though and found the for anything other than some bosses, going full bleed will work better.

Well if you're a dex build instead of making the falchions bloody just make them keen. The attack pattern for them is nice enough since it actually swings both weapons at once unlike katanas which is more of a 1-2 hit. I started warrior using the same concept
@@Dathaloboii yeah can definitely make them keen if you wanted, I just tend to not bother because damage is already pretty high and overall most things bleed haha
It might be better to set the affinity to keen for enemies that can't bleed or for general use. Also I did the white face questline and finished it and didn't get the mask. Or at least I don't think I got it. Seen many comments mentioning the same on a wiki.
Yeah you def could, its just using seppuku that procs a huge attack buff so don't need the bleed itself.
Also Its not FROM the questline, its during it. You get invaded by a nameless white mask and he drops the mask, not varre. I don't think you get invaded unless you are doing hid quest though, I had a mate get to mohgwyn palace without varre and never got invaded

@@nuke2099 yeah same, I didn't want to fight more of him after the first invasion so I sprinted through the area and eventually invaded varre and killed lord of blood. Had to get my mate to drop me the one he got.
Awesome Build ! But try wielding two Uchigatanas and try to get them +25 with Seppuku, you will get some amazing results ! Cheers !
I’m currently using moo veil and a uchi.. should I switch to two uchis?
@@justyou47 Moonveil is great if you are going with a Mage build, Lusat left hand and moonveil right hand. Moonveil has a great INT scalling.
If you wanna go with a pure blood build drop the INT and go dual uchi if possible if not, one uchi with one nagakiba (Yura's sword). But at +25 Uchigatana scales better. For talisman I like the Lord of Blood's Exultation, Milicent's Prothesis, Rotten Winged Sword and Erdtree Favor (for some sustain if needed, if not pick something that you like).
The stats depending on your level, try for at least the soft caps, 20 on dex and 30 on arcane. Keep in mind to have something on vigor, since hp is always nice to have. Since I am a bit high level, 160, I go with 45 arcane, 55 dex and 20 on endurance and the rest on vigor, keep in mind that you need at least 11 str to use the uchigatana.

@@justyou47 Thats great then, Uchis are probably the best Katanas for bleed, if you go with Seppuku. Arcane scales with blood. Makes blood proc better and probably makes the blood proc deal more damage. Also, you are welcome !
You can trade masks between friends?!!! How can I do this!! I need the White Varre Mask x.x I killed the boss and now the finger summons won’t appear for me
You can! If someone you know has it either join their game or have them join yours then have them use the "leave" option on the mask.

Ay congrats man! She is so stupidly tough, I think the only reason I beat her was I got lucky and she didn't do the bullshit move at all. Was such a fun and enjoyable fight without that god damn move haha

You have to duplicate Sepukku by the smithing guy in round table hold

Don't really use spells, just had some there to try. Only one i really use is the fire, cleanse me spell to cure rot and poison

I personally think curved swords are much better. Bleed builds are about hitting a lot and fast to proc bleed and after watching my mate do two katana versions of my build, I'm pretty confident curved swords are the better option
What armor are you wearing ?
Which one? Well, I'll tell you both. One set is the scaled armor, which you get from the first invasion quest at volcano manor, the other set is alberich's robe, which is the guy that invades you if you jump off the balcony in stronghold. I believe if you kill him in the invasion, then go to the same room in the lyendell capital, the set will be there. That's where I found it and I had killed his invasion so I assume thats it.
armor qnd wonderous physick?
I use the shield and heal on no HP tears for the physick, the armour was either the scaled armour from the first manor invasion or alberichs robe from the invasion at stronghold (which you get once you reach the real world stronghold after beating the invasion)
Im very new to this game, so does strength not matter at all?
It matters if you're using a strength weapon, but these are dex weapons and bleed builds will usually use dex weapons because you just want to hit a lot and fast to proc the bleed
Is there a buff that applies death for pvp if so that's not ok XD
Yeah there is, I believe the weapon transferring its status effects to the AOE spell is a bug though

I personally think curved swords have a much better moveset for proccing bleed but katanad still work amazing, my friend used them in his version of the build and goes hard

Haha I was very tempted myself! It's possible that the nameless white face still invades if you teleport to mohgwyn palace from the snow but I'd have to take that route on another playthrough to find out. I did have a mate that got there that way and he said he didn't get invaded so I assume you have to be doing varres quest

I started with Bandit because I ran dual daggers for most of this playthrough but samurai would also be a good starting class for this build
Why Falchions and not Scavenger's Curved Sword? It comes with blood buildup innate
Blood scaling doesn't care about the bloodloss build up that was already on a weapon, if you blood scale a weapon with no bleed already on it and then one with bleed already, they both end up with the same bleed.

@@heyBurmecia i legit think most weapons that let you change scaling would work real well, though obviously faster/more hits, the better for bleed. Enjoy!
HOW DO YOU BEAT VARRE INVASIONS, I can';t do it, I'm super beefed on souls, super leveled up some spirits, what's he weak against, I can't beat him. he's immune to most everything.
the only way i did it was by just stacking FP flasks and using reduvias ranged bleed attack haha, i was not even remotely good enough to beat him otherwise
Might be a dumb question but if you were to have this build scaled down to around lvl60 what would you have your stats into?
Mostly dex and arcane still, I learned eventually not to ignore vigor if you don't want to get one shot and endurance helps hit more before backing off but your focus stats will always be dex and arc for a bleed build
