Speaking of attaching a daypack to the Farpoint travel packs, I learned that the Patagonia Blackhole 25 daypack has similar attachment points and works with the Farpoint 40. FYI

Are you saying it has buckles to clip to the should straps of Farpoint 40? Or it can be strapped to the compression straps on the back?

The daisy chains on the REI Ruckpacks might also work.

@@thehalls9143 I was hoping it would be the former but in the info video for the blackhole 25 there are no visible clips or clip facilities on the shoulders to allow for attaching to a travel pack.

We used the combination of Farpoint/Fairview (we have one of each) and the Daypack at our last trip to greece. At all the backpack does what it should but in my oppinion it was a little bit to small. For the trips it was ok, but at the beach or for shopping in the supermarket it was to small. For the next trip we try addional to the Daypack the Daylite Plus, maybe it fits better to our needs.

Agreed. Just too small to chuck in a towel and swimmers and snacks, drink etc or a laptop, small camera, nibbles, drink bottle, plus sounds like it would be better suited

I really need to know how it attaches to the Farpoint 80 travel pack. Absolutely no instructions anywhere 😩

Out of curiosity, what camera cube do you use? And have you found a perfect one-backpack (works for both travel, hiking and city commuting) that accommodates your camera cube? Thanks in advanced, great video btw.

I used this in combination with the Farpoint 40 as intented. It was a joy to walk around London with that Combo but I felt the Daypack isn't quite as comfortable as a dedicated small backpack. It was not bad by any means but after a full day of walking around with it, my shoulders were feeling uncomfortable a bit more than with other Backpacks

I'm deciding between this one and the daylite plus in combination with the farpoint 40, I bought them all to try but don't know with one is better, will fit better, etc. Can you help me out a bit?

Im looking for a way to attach the daypack. If I just use the straps provided on the front, the daypack slips when i have put my laptop in. Had anyone found a way to hold the daypack on whil under weight?

I'm currently trying to figure this out myself. Apparently the daypack used to be connected to the larger backpack via the straps - AND a zipper. But as it seems, this doesn't exist anymore?

There should be buckles for the waist belt that fit into some loops and maybe it'll make it more sturdy
