Is it just me or are the numbers very high in this set?
I mean, rank 7 with over 70 points? Innistrad just looks like it had an INSANE powerlevel.
Yep, it has got to be one of the stronger sets of the last 10 or so years. Plenty of other really good cards didn't even make the list!
Snapcaster Mage just made whole decks insanely more powerful by himself. When you're a card that can vastly affect different formats for many years, you know that is a powerful card.
Gee, I love Nizzahon because he's very technical.

When you think Delver or Liliana was going to be 1 and forget that Snapcaster was in Innistrad.
Before I watch the video I'm betting ten bucks snapcaster is first closely followed by delver

Have you ever considered using StarCity's tournaments' results in these lists? Geist, pilgrim, gavony and (as usual) Snapcaster have all been earning themselves more points. Anyways, great video; love this series.

In retrospect, this video is hilarious, there are an insane number of Mana Dorks in standard just 2 years later now, including TWO re-prints of Llanowar Elves since this video.
Other than Llanowar Elves, we don't have other creatures that are one-mana mana dorks. But you're still right, I am surprised they brought it back.
@@NizzahonMagicWow even my necroposts are getting responses today, yea I was very surprised too that's why its funny in restrospect. I thought taking them out was a great decision, actually, I think allowing this type of green ramp to continue to play so strongly meant we didn't see enough emphasis on green's shiny new mechanics
i doubt anyone didn't know what the top 3 would be, at best the order might have been unknown for someone who doesn't watch many formats, but this is probably one of the most easily predictable top 10 on this channel. not that it is a bad thing, as the context and discussion is still fascinating, just noting the peculiar anomaly.

I tried to build a deck of horror death touch and zombie top 10 from your videos and top 10 sorcery and equip so far I spent 321 dollars and I can't make sense of what to use I made it more black and blue
Stretched Lilianna unnerves me
The Innistradi Duals were the checklands, not taplands. Taplands are the generic ones, which have had many variants (including a new batch of totally generic ones from I think Eldritch Moon?), Checklands are the ones that check for specific land types.
Snapcaster Mage is my favourite card of all time.

+Cxxvii I was thinking of doing an end kf the year top 10 cards that have appeared in MTG Top 10s this year (in other words, the cards that received the most points across all videos this year), but coming up with a title for it that isnt way too long is a change.

Nope! When I do set videos I only consider cards first printed in a particular set.
They are called check lands not tap lands
