U r suggestion is right. We need to plan carefully before planting fruit trees. Later we can't pull them out. Personal experience

Tips : 1. Always mark the area where & what you are sowing (plot plan on paper, with date), 2. Soil preparation should be such that no lumps of soil be visible, 3. Ant repellent powder around the marked area, 4. Green leaves on top of sowed seed marked area to have good moisture, shade in summer, 5. Right time to sowing seeds is after 4pm and before sunset.

To fill the land we have to mix soil, vermicompost and coco peat and fill. Later you have to give water fully for 10 days before plant trees. Then smash all big soil lumps before planting. And I planted 14 mango trees. Later few years I forgot all small plants and vegetables. And lost lawns also. So plant big tree plants by the very edges.
Madhavi, pls. try raised bed method in one side of the garden. It will make your work easy and best harvest. When u were seeding your garden u were looking very relaxed and enjoying . May God Almighty bless you.

Hi Madhavi garu, I’ve been watching your videos since a couple of years and I have to thank you for being an inspiration to bring out my latent love for plants, which encouraged me to fill my small balcony with greenery. Congratulations for acquiring new property and kudos for putting your ideas of increasing the scale of organic food production into practice. Just a small suggestion if I may…you can earmark a small area, say 10 square feet or so of the plot to raise hens to get organic eggs for your family whose waste can be used as fertilizer for plants. Happy planting and all the best for your initiative

Wonderful Madhavi garu! Small suggestion, please carry garbage bag to collect seed covers/polythene instead of throwing in the garden 🙏
Better to make blue print on paper blocks. Madulu. Fruit plants in future shadow is problem. Wet the blocks thoroughly before sowing

Hello Madhavi garu, vegetables and greeny leafy vegetables ki raised bed garden la cheyandi. Appudu miku thvaraga dry avvadhu.
I love watching your garden…..You should mulch thickly (wood mulch 4-5 inches) on top of soil….or atleast mulch with dried straw around the plants if you want to conserve water. It not only keeps soil moist but also helps the microbial activity…..atleast this what I do in my garden (I grow in ground but I grow in USA….but the technique should be same). Even if you don’t plan to plant right away in all the space ….it’s better to do thick mulching since you added so much compost and manure to it….in order for the microbial activity to sustain….the soil shouldn’t dry. One thing about wood mulch….if you find a source there….the wood mulch first sucks up the nitrogen from soil for 1-2 months and then it’s starts benefiting the soil….so, I would just water it a lot initially
In Visakhapatnam we have termite issue and wood mulch will attract more and more termites

Madam make a pathway from the gate. Also pathway towards the walls from the main pathway gir easy approach. Otherwise it will be very difficult when it rains. By now you shd have done

You should have waited for one more month for Pudina. Its too hot now. Chances are less for survival this month because of hot sun.

Madam please have drainage outlet. When rsin comes water stagnent may be there. Why because you have compound wall. So if the rain comes there is a chance of over water accumulation which is not good for the plants. So it is better to have a outlet to drain the water.
