what other supermarkets have similar prices to this one in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka/Nagano? Is this the only supermarket in Tokyo with these prices? or is it every OK store in Tokyo? Is there any other supermarket companies you recommend?
Thank you very much for sharing Asakusa area as well as taking your time comparing prices for your viewers! Deeply appreciative! Have a great weekend! Blessings!
I didn't visit Asakusa when I was in Tokyo weeks ago, because Asakusa is pretty touristic. However, this supermarket sounds great to stock up drinks and snacks before leaving for a day trip out of Tokyo. Thank you for this video.
I'll definitely give it a try when I visit Japan at the end of this year. I am almost jealous about the amount of different convenience foods at super affordable prices. In my country you couldn't buy the "Katsu" by itself for that price, let alone in that quality. Also great that you guys show also show the more local options for tourists 👍.
Yes we were at ok supermarket in April very good prices!!!! 👍🏻😊 Love kaki no tane kameda company is best quality!!!! I like the wasabi 🧑🏻🎤 And nice ice TIP!!! 😉
Thank you very much for taking your time for price comparison!! And also showing your viewers about supermarkets in tokyo, your tips are always THE BEST for us tourists!! Thank you very very much, hope your channel continues to grow 🙏🙏🎉
2:54 WHOA 😳 those are even cheaper than at Haneda/Narita airport. Wow! I am STILL planning my Tokyo Holiday, which starts estimated 19th of October, this year. I didn't even knew OK Asakusa existed when I was last time in Tokyo, granted, it was in 2018 or so, it was not open yet then. THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙏 for these tips! You are a great help for my October Planning.
Thank you for watching the video! If you want to try various types of Kit Kat, we also recommend a place called Niki-no-kashi in Ueno. It's not as cheap as OK, but they have unique varieties that you won't find in other stores. We introduce it in this video! th-cam.com/video/3QEzFiIYNJw/w-d-xo.html

I might not get a chance to stop by there but it's good to know there are plenty of food options at the supermarket if you're on a budget. Thanks again!
@@samurai_junjiro You're right, please make videos on other supermarkets you recommend and their limited special products like the ice cream and karaage!
Thank you for sharing. This is very informative and useful since I will be going to Japan and my stay is right in Asakusa next month I was wondering if you are aware if Costco has the same snacks and if the price are competitive. I am only planning to buy snacks in Japan to take home for souvenirs and for myself. Thanks.
This supermarket is in a not-so-obvious place, so many tourists who don't know about it often miss it. We hope this video will help you on your trip to Japan!
Thank you for sharing, I am planning my visit soon, may I ask when you do the price comparison earlier on this video is for non members or members pricing? If its not for member, would the price be very competitive to the rest ? And is membership only for the locals?
Becoming a member will get you a 3% discount. A Japanese address is required for registration. Please note that the discount is only applicable for cash payments. Even if you don't become a member, it's still quite a good deal since it's already affordable :)
Thank you for your useful video, we are visiting tokyo next month and staying in asakusa, so we will stop by this supermarket. Does this supermarket accept passmo card? We are considering about getting either passmo or suica 🤔
Thank you for watchiing our video! There probably wasn't a microwave there, so eating at the hotel would be a good idea. By the way, around noon, freshly made bento boxes are displayed, so they're still warm :)
I'm not sure about the packaging, but as long as you have your passport, you'll be fine. The price applies if you purchase items totaling over 5,000 yen before tax.
This is the non-member price. Issuing a membership card costs 200 yen ($1.37). If you're a member, you'll get a 3% discount off the regular price, but this only applies to cash payments.
Thanks for watching the video! It costs 200 yen to become a member. You'll also need to have a Japanese address. The price difference between members and non-members is around 3%.
You need to go to the service counter, but a Japanese address is required for registration. Even if you don't become a member, it's still quite a good deal since it's already affordable :)

Yes, they offer tax-free services. For that, a passport is required. Additionally, payment needs to be made in cash, not with a credit card :)
