    ***** May God keep those journalists safe and well with their families ****** Say what? May who??? Nothing to do with war and peace. To borrow a line from a couple John Lennon songs, "Imagine no possessions " and "Love is all you need." Talk all you want in your echo chamber. ; Better sing he Guess Who,, "Share the Land."

    Why are comments mentioning Hamas & the Houthis being DELETED?

    • @lenablochmusic
      @lenablochmusic 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because "hamas" narrative is irrelevant to the issue of Zionist colonialism. It should not have happened and be allowed to happen in the first place.

    • @Seekthetruth3000
      @Seekthetruth3000 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because they do not fit their narrative.

    • @lenablochmusic
      @lenablochmusic 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because "hamas" and "houthis" are not relevant to the problem of over 100 years of brutal settler-colonialism in Palestine. Both Hamas and Yemen are fighting the unspeakable oppression, they are fighting Israeli ARMY. The Israeli army, on the contrary, is not fighting Hamas or Houthis, they run away from Hamas battles and exterminate helpless civilians instead, because Israeli goal is conquest of Gaza. To get rid of the indigenous people, this or that way. Anybody who speaks about "hamas" is shamelessly lying, because besides Al Qassam brigades, there are ELEVEN OTHER armed resistance groups, battling the IDF. And it has been proved by Israel that Zionist goal is conquest and colonization, not any self-defense. Why is IDF massacring civilians ELSEWHERE except where the armed groups are? Why the IDF NEVER bombs or burns places where the fighters are, but only exterminates civilians, where there are no "hamas" and no "houthis"? So why do honest people in the world speak about Zionist genocide instead of smearing the resistance to it? Duh.

    I was pro-Palestine and anti-colonialism for several decades. After many years studying human nature, philosophy, and history (and practicing psychoanalysis), I’ve come to finally see the simplicity of the beliefs I once held. In America, the arguments about who should be in a particular land plays out for the same reasons. An example is that America “occupies” the land of the Black Hills in South Dakota, and this should be returned to the Lakota/Sioux. The irresolvable problem here is that the Lakota/Sioux occupied the land after violently taking it from the Arapaho, who took it from the Kiowa, who took it from the Crow,… Cheyenne,… Arikara,… all the way back to the Clovis cultures 11,500 years ago. So, the land can belong to no one, actually, it seems.
    The lands of Palestine were part of the Ottoman Empire, the Mamluks, the Ayubid Arab-Kurdish Empire, the Frankish and Christian kingdoms, the Umayyad and Fatimid and Byzantine empires, the Sassanids, the Byzantines (again), the Romans, the Hasmonean, the Seleucid, the empire of Alexander the Great, Persia, Babylon, the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, the twelve tribes of Israel, an agglomeration of Canaanite city-kingdoms, and on and on and on . . .
    And so this is really a matter of understanding which cultures come closest to living according to the transcendental truths that have been revealed to humanity by God (morally, spiritually, politically, socially). What culture (or religion, or philosophical system) was responsible for the eventual ending of slavery? What culture has been responsible for developing the values that are the basis for the most comprehensive protection of human life (and valuing of the natural world)? I’ll save you time: Christianity.
    All religions - all cultures - are not created equal. Some cultures, while we should certainly be respectful of their humanity, are simply inferior. Yes, this problem can only be resolved by understanding what cultures are superior, sorry to say. And, as far as I can tell, the culture that has developed to protect the fundamental human rights of others is far superior to one that suppresses women, suppresses the freedom to speak, and throws homosexuals off of buildings.

      I hope you come to see the simplicity of the beliefs you currently hold. The death, displacement, devastation & destruction as a direct result of human misinterpretations of Christianity is well documented. One culture/religion does not get to choose if they are superior to another.

      I hear you. But I have a question. If you see a child teared apart by a bomb or a soldier shooting at him/her, as a spiritual being, what will you do? Watch and discuss how complicate teh situation is or DO SOMETHING? This is not politics, this is all about humanity, equality, justice, LOVE and compassion. If your spirituality tells you that someone is allowed to kill others I strongly suggest you look for a different god/teacher or, actually, listen more carefully to what they told you cause no religion is promoting hate and genocide. None! and that include Judaism, Islam and Christianity. ♥

      This comment doesn't ooze peace and non duality either, my friend. These are divisive circumstances and the disconnect among us is - sadly - very real. It is near impossible for emotional humans to remove politics from a situation like this. Of course that doesn't mean we needn't do all we can to come back to the most important thing above all else - our humanity. If we want to see peace and non duality, we need to bring those things to whatever we do, including TH-cam comments. I am far from perfect. I have a natural tendency towards sarcasm, thanks to conditioning I am still trying to un-do, so I don't mean to preach. I just feel some hypocrisy in this comment. I apologise for feeling the need to point it out. Stay well ♥

      @@scienceandnonduality Nope! Israel is the only democracy in the ME. Sadly, most Palestinians support Hamas. Hamas is bent on the destruction of Israel, Jews, Christians, and peaceful Muslims. The big elephant in the room is Islamism which poses an existential threat to a humane and civilized way of life.
