“We wanted to go back to our roots,” states Dawson Scholz on The Ongoing Concept's upcoming album AGAIN. “The goal was to do an homage to our earlier albums, while moving forward. We tapped into the old mindset and combined it with where we’re at now. If we were going to get back together, we knew it couldn’t be underwhelming. We needed to give the fans music that was on par with what we were doing a decade ago, but evolved.”
The Ongoing Concept integrate “lyrics and Easter Eggs” from previous albums into the record’s framework, embodying the title quite literally. “Thematically, the songs are continuations,” Dawson affirms. “Every single song has its own vibe even though some of the lyrics may be connected to older tunes.”

I feel like this incoming album could be named “masterclass again”
The vocal melody of the Bee Gees mixed with modern melodic metal. I cannot believe the different genres you guys have blended in these new songs but I'm blown away and at 50 years old I'm not easy to impress. This song just feels like.....if the Bee Gees did modern hard rock/metal. (And please don't be insulted by that. I mean it in a good way.)
Classic TOC, but new. This album will be well worth the wait.

Never heard of this band before this album but WOW my mind is blown, the whole album is incredible (my AOTY so far for sure) but this song in particular is my absolute favorite!!
