Les Deux Alpes used to open in October? Now it opens in December. The climate in Europe changed so much. I had the opportunity to visit it last year (in December). Arthur is such a lucky guy to grow up in this amazing resort.
Most resorts in Europe have opened early because they had a lot of snowfall the past few weeks.

I've been running Vans Verse with Now Select Pros with no highbacks for a couple seasons. I have been liking the stiff boot and soft biding combo for getting max leverage over the board. Also rear toe strap over the boot for max lateral movement for tweaking and getting that knee forward for turning on hardpack, I keep it on my toes on the front for a more locked in feel on toeside turns. Loving these in depth gear chats, Tribute is the shit!
Why no highbacks?
@@rowdypowripper for more lateral ankle movement, I’m gonna start the season with highbacks again to see what I think. They’re pretty soft to begin with so I didn’t notice a huge difference, check out the Now binding ecosystem if you’re unfamiliar.
Nice! Just found your channel by chance, been boarding 20 years and this is the setup i've been using the past 2 season! Vans make very responsive, durable, very comfortable boots, got that Ultra Kush 😶🌫️ And Union has always, and will probably always be top in the binding game 🤌 Y'all have a top notch channel, keep it up!

I already have 2024 Force bindings (awesome) but today I bought the 2024 Ultra's. I just got back from Big Snow (indoor ski area in NJ) and from how they felt there, they were amazing. I can't wait to try them at an actual mountain. They are paired with a 2024 Lib Tech Offramp so I dig the mini disc. Plus I got these 2024 Ultra's for 30& off from my local shop! (Brave New World).

This is why I love snowboarding!! Different styles complement different products, just copped atlas pros with this board and still am backing my decision to go stiff on stiff, won't bring me anywhere near arthur still :((

Hope I like the Ultras, seeing all these videos on the forces after I bought them got me thinking. I'm using the Salomon District pros now and my heel gets stuck every time I unstrap and its annoying enough to buy new bindings. Loved the video tho, yall have a chill vibe.

For me they turned out more responsive edge to edge then my burton cartels. But they are a bit more playfull back and forth. which is ok . it gives you more room for heep and ankle movement. Especially when it comes to grabs.
I just wish the boa guide didn't press on my ankle bone on the Infuse. They are very comfortable other than that.
Can you get Vans to get Arthur Longo signature Infuse boot in Birch color to Europe. Absolutely slaps I cant get them in Europe. Or maybe you guys can help out and we can trade my freshly bought Black/olive for the Birch color. Its a stretch but damn really bummed out Europe doesnt have them.

What bindings would be more beneficial for a lighter rider like me who is 66kg (strata or ultra). I like resort riding with my friends who are not as experienced and also starting to experiment in the park

What is the stance width?
Thank you for the great video :) I think about considering an ultra. I do resort riding, riding slow, buttering, exploring side hits but also going fast and charging. The ultra seem to fit very well but I am also a heavy rider - about 87 kg. So I was wondering if an ultra is the right choice. I've been riding the force for years, but also a strata for 2 seasons... What do think? :)
I almost forgot: I ride a passport and an old adidas tactical adv...

Thank you for the good advice :) don't get me wrong, I liked the strata for type of riding I used it, but I thought my knees would be happy with the extra cush of the ultra... But I also thought that an ultra is to less binding for my weight. How about the cush of the new force? Thank you again :)

@@saschal.489I tried the strata for a few trips this season and really wish I had gotten the ultras or new force I think. I thought the strata was going to be more cushion for knees but after two trips I’ve just felt more beat up on them than my malavitas or my current bent metal transfers. The strata has the binding structure right under the heel and it’s hard with little to no shock absorption, I really don’t get the hype of the strata so I’ll be selling. So far 3 trips on the bent metal have been good and even though the highback feels softer I think the binding is more responsive overall. I really would like to try the ultras to see how they are for the knees since I’m not a hard charger but more mid speed in the tree those big dip impacts start to take effect at days end.
I got a Salomon huck knife 156 with burton swaths 10,5 should i get the ultras in M or L? What is the differance between them?

We do see a lot of Atlas on the Mega's .... those that want more tweak-ability might look at the Ultra !
