My takeaway from the trailer is that she can switch dimensions, so if you think about it, she could switch to a dimension, where SHE was Bloodhound, and not the Bloodhound we know from his dimension. The same with Loba, the Monkey King, and she's lived so many different lives in so many different dimensions, she may not even know who she actually is anymore.

This is one of the first times i've been genuinely curious about the lore. Respawn did a really good job this time, the teasers have been great, character design is great and the story behind her is really mysterious.
If this is the first time then I'm genuinely worried about you. Apex has had so many interesting lore stuff ranging from Revenant and Loba's story Caustic and Crypto's.
people seem to forget that olympus was in a energy crisis, if horizon doesn’t get stuck in the black hole on energy for olympus which causes the rift to destabilize and destroy the planet.

i think alter is some sort of time keeper like gereas almost, she’s not dimension hopping for the fun of it but for evidence. which points to horizon.
this also puts alters existence at risk as well, cause no discovery of branthium= no alter.

Also, some of her "origins" are fun little pop culture references, like the one where she's basically Sun Wukong, and the one where she's a martial artist with a passion for football (a reference to a movie called "Shaolin soccer"). I'm sure some of the others are also referencing something

My guess is that Alter is one of Dr. Renee's test subjects from when she worked at Ares, or perhaps just another result of Ares experimentation.
My theory: Alter could either know Horizon personally or could actually be an Alternate version of Horizon who has a vendetta for the Horizon in this dimension for causing the death of her son.
A bit out there but that's my theory. I love how Alter's back story is left to our imagination
I have a feeling that Alter looks and feels like a corrupted version of Horizon. She has a similar physique and hair and some similar movements. Especially after playing her now. Also if you check her legend customization screen she has a Banner Frame called Altered World that changes from Horizons picture to Alter's with Dr. Mary Sommers written under it.

By any chance would you be thinking of Sylvie from Loki? At the very least I did think Alter visiting catastrophic events on many worlds was similar to (spoiler warning) Sylvie trying to hide from the TVA by visiting multiple catastrophic events.
Because they are literally copied from them dude.. For example, Revenant and his army vs legends is a bit like Endgame Thanos vs Avengers.

It has a double meaning. Yes, it's the TF logo, but it also doubles as the Ares Division logo.
There seems to be a weird/deteriorating pattern to Alter's narration of the trailer. I don't know that it means anything, maybe it just reflects a deteriorating mental stability, but it seemed odd to me and it may have been done for reason (other than being.. thematic for Alter); maybe understanding the pattern might offer some insights (like easter eggs and/or teasers)

My thought is that the stories are some kind of mix of reality and delusional coping, not intentional lies (like Loba wasn't dragged away by ARES soldiers for instance)

maybe, I mean she was definitely mocking alot of stories, but they could be teasing small things about her real past. hence the wraiths and imc guards. Honestly tho its just exciting to dig into, so hyped for this legends lore to continue!
Ever since Alter's design was released, I kept thinking that this is Subject 0. Honestly, I would be disappointed if it's not her. Also, I never noticed the possible Wraith clones. That scene just passed by so quickly and I was stunned by the animation T-T

Well... Ash died 2 times in a way. First it was Wattson's grandmother (tell me if im wrong) who impaled her with the sword ash has now. 2nd time, it was Cooper and BT. Then in S5 during the Broken Ghost quest, they got her working. When she came out in S11 Trouble in Paradise story, she tried to kill Wattson to end the Paquette's bloodline. She's trying to get revenge in a way. I still don't really understand the beef she has with Horizon.
@@uniquewraithmainAsh doesn't have beef with her, horizon has beef with Lilith (I think that's her name) for leaving her in space for a bunch of years and is currently trapped inside ash. AKA the glitches ash has sometimes, but technically they're the same simalacrum/person so she hates "Ash".
@@uniquewraithmain yeah I think you’re right but that’s why I’m excited for Alter bc it’s like a one sided beef with Ash and Horizon since Horizon is pissed Ash abandoned her in space and made her miss out on her sons life, but Ash is like “Damn. Did I ask tho?” And after dealing with Rev and Loba one sided (then both sided) beef for years, I didn’t wanna repeat that with Horizon and Ash. So hopefully Alter makes things interesting
@@uniquewraithmain only horizon has beef. Ash only tried to kill watton because she thought it would get rid of Leigh when it didn't work she stopped. Horizon only has beef because Leigh left her for dead which it seems Leigh regrets doing. TLDR Ash doesn't give a damn about horizon
Horizon getting stuck in the back hole was a cannon event. If she messes with it she will destroy other realities.

It seems like Alter is Angstrom Levi, and Horizon is Invincible (from the show "Invincible")
So I’ve heard Horizon talk about wanting to time travel and using yhe gadget she saw in the previous season as a way to do that with Lifeline’s help. But every dimension this happened, something bad happened and causes the destruction. This is probably why Alter has such a hard on for Horizon
1 thing I noticed is that some of the people she kills looks like the legends specifically newcasltle mirage and conduit but idk
You are correct those are Ares division soldiers, but the A on the shoulder pads does not really mean anything as it appears on the XO-16 shorty in Titanfall 2. If I had to guess the I would just need advocate Network as it's the same symbol.
It does appear in the shoulder pads of the soldiers, but also if you haven't noticed, Wraith also has it on her Quarantine 722 (which finally has a lore behind the skin). I do see what you're saying cuz old rev had it and i think cyber security wattson has it as well.

Or maybe alter is horizon. Younger version of her that embraced ashes, simularcrum technology and became the antithesis to the loving mother who would do anything to save her child. Which would be a demon who wants to destroy everything but itself.

I'm thinking Alter is an Alternate version of Horizon who tried preventing these events with NEWT tech and Void tech, which may have lead to her corruption
I’m guessing alter is subject 0 but also existed with her powers before getting tested on or getting caught. I say cause it looks like alter is a singular being, compared to wraith who sees other versions of herself doing different things. I’m guessing alter was messing around in their world let herself get caught then dipped after a few tests were done.

He won't get lore until someone tells him his dad was actually his grandpa this whole time. His dad died from a illness which is why his grandpa despite being actually a bad person put so much effort into creating stims that can cure almost anything

I have a few theories on what she could be (none are true and also not fitting with apex at all i just think these are cool) 1, shes everyone and everything kind off supported by the multiple backstories that could be true and shes just telling all of her favorites. 2, shes the grim reaper, she says "im the one whose there at the end of the day" maybe she transforms into the targets worst nightmare or 3, shes an alternate version of wraith that went completely insane after forgetting the past so now she just makes upp a bunch of backstories because she doesnt know her own one

honestly given that her name is "Alter" I think she might not be lying about her origins as much as it seems. She's very obviously unstable in a way and with how the writers treat wraith, i'd imagine that she has some form of Dissociative Identity Disorder, fundamentally incapable of distinguishing some memories between her own, and those of the different versions of herself.
Where Wraith's exposure to void tech seems to have literalized schizophrenia, all that talk of masks, who people "really are", and the numerous versions of Wraith we see, Alter might be a literal physical Alter/Alters, the appropriate term for the alternate personalities that manifest under DID.

Curious to know what would be your reasoning though? Admittedly mine would be convoluted (which I don't care that much is messy given Respawn has broken Titanfall lore already).
I speculate that Horizon succeeds to get to Newt buut as he's on an area where dark matter/Void is seeping through, the longer she stays the more that the time gauntlet breaks and dimensional rifts start to appear.
This occurs enough that other worlds can get through, and an alternate version of Horizon struggling to save Newt on their world finds an answer with the consequences of Apex Horizon's actions. Only she fails her usage of her own gauntlet breaks her completely leading to her having Void capabilities, losing her mind at wanting to see catastrophic events, and starting to realize she needs to hunt down Horizon.
She can still be Subject 0 all things considered -- the implications of her breaking down into Alter meant that she likely got flung across multiple dimensions and would be of interest by the Ares Division if they captured her as Subject 0 at some point before escaping.

My guess is that horizon triggers an event that ruin gives birth to a new wraith that didn't have the void but got it as tech instead with the price of destruction across reality that could mean there's more then just the legends that we know there could be a overlord fuse a body gard revanant and where horizon dose not meet ash in the apex games the plot is fr rn that I'm blowing my own mind with this guess of mine

I think that fits Alter. She just enjoys chaos and destruction, to the point she will go out of her way to ensure it happens. This would EASILY make her the most evil character on the entire roster.

I don't know why everyone seems to think that Alter is the "other" Wraith. We literally saw the "other" Wraith in her SFTO short. The "other" Wraith is literally just...... Wraith. From another universe (since he used Marvel as an example, I will too. It's like when the Avengers went to different timelines to get the infinity stones, and they saw other versions of themselves). The abilities for the two Legends aren't the same.
My theory? Alter is a completely random person who had her life (and home) destroyed when Horizon time traveled after being abandoned in space by Dr. Reid. Whatever she did to get back home caused a rift that destroyed Alter's home into the ground, and that's why she's so blood thirsty for finding Horizon. She wants to either get her home restored, or she wants revenge. And that's why she's drawn to destroyed universes. I think she's just another revenge story like Loba and Revenant.
Aldo, clearly void-dimension powers aren't all that hard to get since Ash also has a void power. I guess that means Ash is also Subject 0.
in the titanfall universe void powers are only hard without tech.
whole titans and simulacrum can travel into the void because they are not human and can survive warping into it (pilots get shielded from it inside the titan and pilots rodeoing the titan when it does this take damage).
thats why Wraith is so special because she is the only one (until alter) that can travel into the void on will alone

Do you see how that sounds? I think it would be cool to have Wraith's AU come into play, but as of right now none of this makes any sense.
I stand by my original statement: I think Alter just had her home destroyed by whatever cosmic disaster happened when Horizon got back home after being abandoned in space by Dr. Reid. And now Alter either wants revenge against Horizon, or she wants Horizon's help to get back to her home pre-disaster.
Greedspawn has spent so many seasons building up Horizon's story in regards to perfecting time travel so she can get back to her son, and now she's getting close to figuring it out and we have a new Legend that is connected to her in some way, yet everyone seems to think it's just Wraith's AU self all because both Wraith and Alter can void-jump? It's such a far stretch honestly.
