If you are still confused about fester, he is actually the real uncle fester. That's why his mom said "I should have left you where I found you", because she wasn't her actual child. When the lightning zapped him at the end, he got his memories back.
Many psychologist say that Gomez & Morticia as the greatest/healthiest fictional marriage of all time and generally known as great, supportive parents...
Thank you for getting around to reacting to The Addams Family! I'm almost certain that you'll like the sequel, Addams Family Values more because it does have more plot going for it. Let the Spooky Season commence! 🎃👻🦇
"How long has it been since we've waltzed?" "Oh, Gomez... hours." Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Mercedes McNab. Director Cameo Fact: Barry Sonnenfeld is the passenger on the model train that a giant Gomez (Raul Julia) looks into the window and laughs at before the two model trains crash into each other. Automobile Enthusiast Fact: Cousin Itt's (John Franklin) three-wheeled vehicle is a two-seater Messerschmitt "Kabinroller" (cabin car), produced in Germany during the late 1950s and early 1960s. The Addams' family car is a 1932 Packard Twin Six. RIP Raul Julia Fact: After the movie premiered children would frequently recognize Raul Julia as Gomez Addams out in public, which according to him, always brought a smile to his face. Julia stated that Gomez Addams was by far his favorite role, and his family said this recognition was especially meaningful to him in the final months of his life because he loved performing for children and making them happy whenever the opportunity presented itself. I, Fester Fact: The actors were concerned about the ambiguity of the big Fester storyline. Initially, it was going to be unknown if Gordon, the man suffering from memory loss who looks just like Uncle Fester, was actually Fester. The cast members nominated Christina Ricci to give an impassioned plea to Scott Rudin and Barry Sonnenfeld two weeks before shooting, that Fester should not be an impostor. Sonnenfeld remembered that the only cast member to not care was Christopher Lloyd, the man playing Fester.
The Addams Family started as a weird, macabre, sort of evil family comic strip in the 1930s-1950s New Yorker Magazine. It became a comedic TV show in 1964 with the "evil" taken out. That show focused on the parent's antics, but the kids got their moments. From 1970s thru the 1990s there were cartoons and live sequels/specials not nearly as popular as the original. All the movies, live and animated, and the Wednesday show are very good to awesome.
In the begining of the video you asked if your attention span has just evaporated over time.... then you literally had to look up the plot of a movie that was less than 5 mins in. You just got your answer -- YES, it has. I know it's hard to understand as a youngin who's so used to Marvel movies just dumping exposition on you but real stories and plot take time to develop and unfold.
It started as a Cartoon, then became a 60's Comedy Series followed by the Movies Decades Later. A few years ago they made a couple of animated movies (With Charlize Theron as Mortician and Chloe Grace Moretz as Wednesday).. Then Along Came Jenna Ortega... Everyone wants a Romance as deep as Gomez and Morticia. TRIVIA: "Gomez" from the TV Series (John Astin) was the Father of Sean Astin.
what sibling hasn't thought of torturing their brother or sister it is always a love hate relationship with siblings someone once said family always knows how to push your buttons because they installed them.
I never thought I'd see someone on a reaction channel look up the plot of a movie *while watching that movie*. Do you want to google the plot of the sequel while you're at it? Just so you know the entire story beforehand and no one can accuse you of not understanding the plot?
I tend to research new movies that I don't know much about before I see them in theaters. I always want to know what movies are about before I take the time to watch them.
You seriously looked up the plot because you couldn't wait 10 minutes for the introduction of characters and world building? What?... That's like, story telling 101. I don't know any movie that introduces the main plot point in the first 10 minutes.
Saw this movie in the theaters when I was 7 and Christina Ricci has been my favorite actor ever since, she's the best.. and the sequel (Addams Family Values) is much better than this one, almost everyone would agree.. don't sleep on the sequel you will 100% love it!
I can see how maybe it might not hit. However, the second live action movie Addams family values is great. I also really love the two new animated ones. Just fun series.
The sequel (Addams family values) is far superior to this movie and the plot does in fact drive all of the movie- including the b plot. Definitely one to watch in November.
The 1960s version wasn't a movie. It was a series. Btw, Uncle Fester is the same actor who plays "Doc" in "Back to the Future" and Wednesday is played by a (very) young Christina Ricci. "1408" is a Stephen King adaptation of one of his _many_ short stories. It stars John Cusack & Samuel L. Jackson. It's a mind f**k. Very good. "Cujo" is another Stephen King adaptation, this time, of one of his _novels_ . "Big Driver" and "A Good Marriage" are 2 more Stephen King short stories made into movies. As you may have guessed, I'm a SK fan. I have all his books. 📖📖📖📖📖📖
The 1st Addams Family was a 30 min. sitcom in B/W. in 1965! The hairy man was called cousin it. Wednesday danced to a record trying to teach Lurch how to dance-very funny!! I luv ur channel-Hello from North Carolina!
I REALLY REALLY HOPE You watch the sequel "Addams Family Values" Such a GREAT Sequel!! Actually.. as much as I love the first one... to me.. the sequel is WAY BETTER!! So much more fun and Funnier!!
I remember the 60s TV show, but it was on when my other shows were showing. I did watch The Munsters more often at the time. (60s Musters movie is okay, but forget about more recent projects). Addams Family Values has the iconic Thanksgiving scene. Love that. Sequel is great. Do watch.
Gomez and Morticia are couple goals. They *are* great parents. Not controversial at all. Addams Family Values is even better. The animated one is ok too. Don't watch Addams Family Reunion. Despite having Tim Curry playing Gomez the movie isn't that great. I grew up on the b&w Addams Family tv show so I already knew the family dynamics before the movies came out.
i recommend you react to the sequel Addams Family Values , Even Better! and also : ★ - *The 'Burbs* (1989) _/starring _*_Tom Hanks_* ★ - *The Frighteners* (1996) _/starring _*_Michael J. Fox_* ★ - *Gremlins 2: The New Batch* (1990)

Well, that's true
RIP, Raul Julia, 1940-1994. He was the best Gomez Addams.
Agree
And m .bison
Addams Family Values is definitely one of those cases of the sequel surpassing the original. I still like the first one, but I love the second one.
Definitely.
It’s not, you’re a dunce.
20:48 "Like, come on, man. Even the hand got a job." That's what she said!
It’s definitely your attention span. Gotta give things time to unfold lol

The Addams Family is the most loving wholesome family in the history of fiction. No other family comes close.
*"I need to know what the plot is. The plot, the plot, plot, etc."......jeez, have you ever heard of PATIENCE?*
Addams Family Values is even better
Pubert!

Literally her attention span is so cooked she couldn't wait to find out the plot.

Addams family values was my favorite 😊🖤

The only downside in Values is Raul Julia's low energy Gomez because he was dying at the time 😭😭😭
@@LordVolkovyeah it's sad but he was still great in it.. Ricci and Joan Cusack both gave Oscar worthy performances in Values..
@@BB13131313 For sure. It's 100% their movie. Joan Cusack has never been more beautiful (and crazy 😅)
@@LordVolkov he was ?

I do suggest seeking out the original TV show with John Astin as Gomez. It's very wholesome and funny.

The Sequel Addams family values is even better.
There's an Addams Family Trilogy.
In my opinion, if you're doing it right your attention span should expand as you get older.
I remember the 60s TV show, but it was on when my other shows were showing. I did watch The Munsters more often at the time. (60s Musters movie is okay, but forget about more recent projects).
Addams Family Values has the iconic Thanksgiving scene. Love that. Sequel is great. Do watch.
How can the Addams Family have monthly payments if they live off the grid?
Please react to the sequel
*Addams Family Values (1993)*
Mu favorite
Gomez and Morticia are couple goals. They *are* great parents. Not controversial at all. Addams Family Values is even better. The animated one is ok too.
Don't watch Addams Family Reunion. Despite having Tim Curry playing Gomez the movie isn't that great.
I grew up on the b&w Addams Family tv show so I already knew the family dynamics before the movies came out.
i recommend you react to the sequel Addams Family Values , Even Better! and also :
★ - *The 'Burbs* (1989) _/starring _*_Tom Hanks_*
★ - *The Frighteners* (1996) _/starring _*_Michael J. Fox_*

Jesus Christ it was not that confusing at the beginning
the admas are near immortal to normal damages so they have fun which kill a normal person lol
30+ years on, they remain, altogether, ooky **buh duh duh duh, click click**
I obsessively watched the original b&w show when it was reran on daytime tv as a kid :)
If you want to know what the original comic strip characters look like, watch The Addams Family (2019). They look close to the originals.
It would be nice if you actually listened to the movie instead of talking nonstop.
I LOVED the wednesday show!
You should watch gremlins 2
I watched halloween town for multiple years as well, but I think I watched it enough in life.. (would still watch a first time reactor)
Love the Danse Macabre intro
I hope you do Addams family reunion your gonna love it
How you can react to something if you talk over it all the time ?!?!?!?!!!?!?!?
Never got into Halloween Town
The sequel is much better!
