Dusty is brilliant singing this. I absolutely love how she sings this.
Hard to imagine that BBC1 "lost" so many of Dusty's master tapes. Thank God for people sneaking in audio recorders! This treasure would have been lost forever. Thanks for the Post!
Lori Romano Some of the surviving audio footage was sourced from audience recordings but I believe this particular clip was someone putting a microphone from a reel-to-reel recorder to their television speaker and silently recording the performance. A massive debt of gratitude is owed to such foresighted Dusty Devotees.
Wonderful gem all these "lost" recordings, never mind that the condition is not the best quality but getting the feel , getting the connection and most especially witnessing a history that cannot be repeated, is such an immense feelings. Thank you for sharing this

Fantastic!!! She may be very slightly off-key here and there, but what a PRESENTATION and FEEL to the music and the words!!! She's no doubt one UK's GREATEST singers of the century! RIP - you were such a gifted person and such a gift to music and listeners!
I believe any warble in pitch was due to emotion enriching the performance. Without video footage it is tough to know for sure.
