  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM) covers four main topics in the webinar. Minimize the number of parts it takes to make your product. Reducing the number of fasteners that go into your assembly. The second topic is making parts reusable. This can be done by taking advantage of design library feature in the task manager. The third topic is design intent. You want to have intent to make parts with symmetry and parts that align with other parts. The last topic is Top-Down Design. Taking advantage of the design style can simplify assembly instruction and the assembly process.

    Looking to be able to mate 2 halves of a model airplane wing at a 6 degree dihedral but nothing in any of the mate types seem to be able to work. These are airfoil lofts. Any ideas would be very apprciated. Your videos/tutorials are fantastic and easy to follow and understand. Keep up the great job
