Its a breath of fresh air and it brings knowledge to a format where most people just play to what they think will work, without any "theory" behind it (myself included). Id love more doubles content
Def would love it, its a whole community of online dubs players who want to learn more because theres barely any guides or anything of the sort, we basically just free styling, really appreciated this
@@RamsesEsports I'm entering a Doubles tournament and I've never played doubles before. This is absolutely going to become the backbone of my gameplay. This is great to learn with your Smash Partner. Thank you for the breakdown! I'd love to see more of this!
I find it interesting to see what you value and prioritise in explaining doubles. I've been working on material for some doubles workshops I plan on running for my local scene and I've found with the players I've taught how to play doubles that broader concepts like positioning and spacing in a doubles context, plus the importance of time as a resource, result in a lot more immediate growth that gets people more excited to play doubles and learn the intricacies down the line. I actually feel like team compositions, roles, and the classic aggressor/support comp are a bit of a trap to fall into discussing; with how unique in little ways most characters are in Ultimate, many characters can fit multiple roles, and the roles that are most effective tends to change based on the specific pair you're fighting, so understanding how your position relative to the stage, to your teammate, and to the opponents, dictates everyone's options, priorities, and the cost associated with performing specific actions, makes more sense as a point of entry into the topic, at least to me. Thanks for the video all the same, do you have any old VODs of your doubles play?
Question hopefully you can respond me and my brother plays joker and pyra in doubles i play joker Who should be the initiator And who should support More Because I feel like those two characters could possibly play both roles Or does it depends Where we are on the stage as well Love your vids and the Information you bring Off topic but I think with a lot of labbing and effort Inking and ness is a great team Agies Mario And agies joker Me personally I love doubles way more then singles but is suck that I feel like players who want to become a pro mostly make a name for themselves in singles rather then doubles
Hope this was informative! Let me know if you want to see more doubles content 👀

Good-ass video.
Played in doubles a little and it’s super fun, but I played awful and with my diddy kong. Hopefully I can actually practice before the next tourney

Hey Ivo! Mythra is one of the best initiators, but perhaps its good to switch roles if Mythra is near death. Hope that helps!
So our go to team is either sonic and Kirby or pit and palutena. Do you know which is better and what role they would play?
What does it mean for a character to wall?
It means they control space with disjoints, often preemptively. Think Lucina, Shulk, Sephiroth, Belmonts
