Seeing so many people profess to be Christ-followers and yet spew such vitriol towards people who don't think like them has really pushed me to the point where I'm like, "I'm not a Christian anymore." Not that I don't believe in God or Jesus, but I don't want to be associated with Christianity anymore because it's become so hijacked and perverted. So my partner and I started exploring other ways of thinking and seeing the universe, thanks in large part to some of these other series that Aaron has (Law of One, A Course in Miracles, etc), and it's been the most eye opening thing. I feel like I've grown...actually grown...more in the last year than I did in the ten years prior to this. It's helped me to maintain my curiosity. So many people seem to turn their brains off because Christianity tells them they don't need to think anymore, and that if they think too hard about it then they're not trusting God enough. But I'm like, "But I WANT to explore these ideas. I was CREATED with a curious brain and soul, and if God doesn't make mistakes, then why was I created with an aptitude that I'm not meant to use?" Anyway, SUPER excited to have found this Deconstructing Religion series. It's SOOOO helpful!

I love your videos and I have been questioning the bible and religion for years. My last straw was after getting divorced I prayed to God asking him to take away my pain, I had a dream that night and I know without a doubt that it was God speaking to me in a dream. I revealed this to a person of religion and she told me that I was being deceived because there is no way it could have been God comforting me in my dream, her reason was because my marriage had failed. So she was in essence saying that I wasn't worthy enough to hear God's voice because of my divorce which was not by my choice. So much arrogance. I just can't wrap my head around a God that tortures good people for all eternity. You are very educated about scripture, so one scripture I am having difficulty with. How do you explain No one comes to the father except through me? Thanks for all your videos, I have been binging them for a few days now.

Late response, but this is how I see it, you have a choice, who to serve, yourself (ego/devil) or others (love/God), if someone chooses to serve themselves, they desire to "serve the devil" because service of self cannot lead to true oneness with the source, it leads you in the opposite direction, and this must've been what was meant, your "father" can be either "God" or the "Devil", the one you look up to, the one you follow,
I know this isn’t directly related to the video but. With regards to lucid dreaming . I have heardvlucid dreaming be described as an endless world of possibility. But when i lucid dream (or at least attempt) one out of 2 things will happen. Either it is just like a regular dream but I dream about lucid dreaming or I lucid dream but everything is so damn fussy I can make out anything.
