    Does anyone know the difference between prefacelift and post on mk2? I can't find any info if it's only cosmetically or if postfavelift got some extras.

      Good question, let me pin your comment and hopefully we can get a good answer for this one. I’m curious too.

      A little bit late or maybe not. Basically some cosmetic changes, front bumper rework, rear bumper with two exhausts one on each side on the 2.0 models instead of two just on the left side as in the pre-facelift. New Led bulbs on the headlights in some cases like you can find in the R8 of that same era. Then some minor aluminum details on the interiors (this one I think is optional) and the engine went from 200 cv 280nm to 211cv 350nm. I would like to know exactly what changed in the engine internals between models for with a stage 1 repro the difference between them is just 10cv and 8nm so negligible.

    Placed a deposit on a 2008 yesterday since the dealer had 2 and sold 1 before it was even out of inspection. Going today and may have it by the end of the day - or so I hope. It is a roadster, so somewhat excited since I’ve never had a convertible; but having mixed thoughts. Thanks so much for all your videos, they’re super helpful!!

    Hi Ralph, is that a model specific bodykit or a generic one trimmed to suit? Thanx Dave

    • @ralphartiza
      @ralphartiza  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a generic one that’s trimmed a bit to fit properly, Dave. What I do recommend is try and buy a universal kit that’s already very close to the dimensions of your car, that way you’ll have very minimal adjustments to do when fitting it on. The grill that I have however is designed specifically for Audi TT MK2, so that one fits bang on. Hope that helps. 😊

    Kind of dig the black lip along the bottom, what’s this called? Its just glued down with 3M or?

    • @ralphartiza
      @ralphartiza  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s actually universal front lip and sideskirt, had to modify them a bit but it turned out to be a good fit. You should be able to find the install on my other videos. We used 3M and self-tapping screws to secure them.

    Hey bro, great video. I want one for daily commute car as work office is opening up again. Found a bunch of 2009 2008 models around 100k kms and price range 15000 to 20000. I think that's a great deal but what should I check when I go see a vehicle??

    • @ralphartiza
      @ralphartiza  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Here are some of the things that I checked bro.
      Oil leaks
      Is the timing belt changed?
      Maintenance records
      Water leaks if you have a chance to take it to car wash
      You can also call Audi prior to checking and see what are their 100km’s maintenance and they’ll be able to tell you what else you’ll be spending in the near future when you purchase the vehicle
      .
      .
      .
      Can’t think of anything else right now but when I do, I’ll add it again in the comment. I’m sure others would have some inputs as well.
      Congrats in advance bro! 🙌🏼
