      @@LivingblindwithCoryJackson No, only for the last 5 years. He was diagnosed with glaucoma when he was in his 30s and gradually lost his vision until he became blind around 60 years old. He says his loss of vision was so gradual that he had time to learn to accept that it was going to happen

      I can use that as well, but if I don’t want someone around me to hear what I’m typing braille screen input is the best option.

    Here , in Argentina people is starting writing with the E when a word its feminine or masculine ( Spanish ), and they said that is inclusive, for neutral gender. I never saw in a public building something for blind people of deaf people, thats inclusive.

    Do you use standard voice entry (speech to text), and only use Braille type when trying to be quiet?

      Are use dictation quite a bit, but if I want to be private about what I am sending or I want to be quiet braille screen input works the best for me.

    Not sure how you will read me but this sounds like a faat i put method even for those that can see, perhaps if the back of our phones had touch too this input method could be used and keep the screen area free of keyboards? By the way, did you used to be able to see before?

      Yes, it is part of the built-in screen reader on iOS devices called voiceover.

      Hello, my iPhone has a screen reader on it called voice over. I am able to swipe through the comments and read/reply to them.

      Hi there, I do use dictation at times but maybe I want to send something or write something down that I don’t want someone around me to be able to hear. That is when Braille screen input is very handy. Thank you for watching

      I have a screen reader on my iPhone called voiceover. It reads the screen as I move my finger around. That is also how I read the comments. I plan to do a video that will demonstrate that really soon. Thank you for watching

      I was born with optic nerve hypoplasia. My physical eye is fine, however there is an issue in the optic nerve and they haven’t figured out that technology yet.
