- Enter Doctor Blackbrew's Castle and beat this previously last boss of the game to unlock Dracula's Leggings and gain the Soul Shard of the Monster. You need to craft and use EMP on the castle door to enter.
In this video series, I kill every V Rising boss on Brutal difficulty as 10 levels lower than the boss and Frail Blood. Default Brutal settings. Filmed in the V Rising 1.0 patch.

After the nerfs, the fight now feels easier than in Gloomrot patch, even on Brutal difficulty. It's still a proper challenge though.

I think the bosses should be able to "see through invis", the slashers seem too gimmicky. Still very impressive.
I love and hate these videos lol. It makes me feel a little sick over how easy you make it look. In my own playthru, I lost count of how many times that a s s hole grabbed me and yeeted me across the arena bf I downed him. Either way, keep up the great content.

after some training I was able to do the first phase without taking damage easily but that second phase simply decides it's time for you to die sometimes, honestly your reaction time is amazing cause when he basically got you cornered at 6:20 I would surely be dead... looking forward to see your dracula run
That was a tricky situation, my heart was beating so hard after it I had to focus very hard to keep it cool and finish the fight! Looking forward to the Dracula challenge too.

Damn I can't imagine you did that so quick! There were thousands of random electric balls and I feel that I always got hit from nowhere.
And there were also many details we can learn from it, like stop the pistol's q early in case he pops shield, use slasher's e to buy time until the electric balls disappears...

I still haven't done Adam since 1.0, but even before, Adam was next to impossible for most solo players.. I've only seen people cheese him (abuse), but Brutal + under leveled + flawless victory is literally insane :O 2 shields + slashers Q for dodging is absolutely brilliant

Your videos are awesome man. Between showing strategies to beat bosses and giving confidence to people that with matching gear score, good blood/buffs these bosses are indeed beatable, you’re a real one. Are there any bosses you think you might not be able to no hit? Ziva green phase comes to mind, or domina?
Glad you like them! I'm pretty sure any boss can be done with no hits, although with some it needs a little bit of luck involved. Ziva is a tricky one, but Domina is very easy to do with no hits, even on Brutal. In P2, just go invisible when she does the spinning and go with 2 shields.
The boss I'm most concerned about is Dracula, because of my 10 level lower and Frail limitation. I'm not yet sure if it's technically doable.
@@CrimsonSilhouetteGaming I have yet to see the Dracula fight trying not to spoil it for myself until I attempt it but brutal is a slow process for me and I refuse to play lower difficulty until I beat Dracula at least once on brutal. Keep at it, hope you get him!

As someone who's been trying to do Brutal Dracula with the same restrictions you set for yourself to give myself something to do on the server I play for almost a month now, here's my documentary and findings from my attempts over that time:
[SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ANYONE READING THIS THAT HASN'T DONE HIS FIGHT]
It is doable but requires alot of luck. Phase 1 & 2 are fine with exception to the crystals and ult at times but if he summons back to back crystals, the run's pretty much over.
Personally I've found axes to be the most reliable in downing the crystals. Lightning Curtain can block almost everything in his kit since the high majority are counted as projectiles and can be used to stall out the ult during it's length since it blocks the shards. You can use merciless charge to interrupt his ult in phase 2 if you do it before any crosses/shards get shot as well and additionally frost barrier has proved a very reliable damage source and additional protection even with the restrictions. Skeletons if used on blood soul can help out quite a bit, especially if used to gank the heart.
Blood souls you simply don't have the damage to keep them down and kill the heart before he's already near if not outright full hp meaning you also are going to have to dodge the shadowkin projectiles on top of starting the fight with that amount of HP.
For his finale, it's reliant the back to back recast chains for the fight. Chaos dash I found helps quite a bit since it cuts down on the reliance for recasts given how you can use the first dodge to any incoming swords or projectiles and the recast to what's left or to alleviate the shockwave but this is by far the easiest part of the fight since you're no longer hindered by frailed. Without the immortal blood, it's outright impossible, no exceptions; I've tried.
Closest I've had him right now is a magic pixel from death and I had no dodge nor counter and I fumbled my WASD and got hit by the shards for 2k which ended the run via instant death and obviously getting hit which made me really annoyed and effectively killed the motivation in me to keep attempting after that.
I'll edit this later for better formatting when I wake up but for now I'm going to sleep
@@konma6986 Thanks for the suggestions! I have practiced and experimented with the fight a little bit already and I can also say it's definitely doable. As long as he doesn't do back to back crystals in P2 like you said. I hope I'll have enough time to finish the video soon.
This is truly amazing stuff. I gotta ask though, how come he never does the dash in this run? I'm specifically referring to the move where he kind of rolls or whatever and gets behind you. Is there some trick to making it so he never does it? I'm playing on controller and honestly that move is a nightmare to deal with because swinging the camera is hard to do while keeping track of what he's going to do next. Excellent stuff by the way, truly impressive.

Hoooly! Great dodges mate. I wanted to record this too but I got annoyed because of beam bugs and quitted. Is there a way to not make the beams bug after resetting adam?
Thanks! If the beams still have red lights on and pulling the boss would leave them off (like in my guide video), you just have to wait until the lights turn back to blue before pulling. If some of the beams stay active after resetting the fight, you have to start the fight and reset again.
Please try a nibbles the rat no hit! On brutal he got an insane aoe attack with no telegraph on a 6s cd and at a time in progression where you have little movement speed. The only way I've found to dodge it is baiting attacks to slow him down and alternating dash and wind spear. Perhaps blood rage and power surge could do it as well.

In your video he seems to be mostly standing still-ish. Every time I fight him, he walks around like a hyperactive chiuaua on speed. That's why I haven't been able to beat him even on normal diff :/
It's hard to keep distance from him because he walks and dashes at you right away or does the impaling charge if you walk too far away. That's why I try to stay right next to him all the time, so he mostly stands still or just takes small steps and I can focus on following his attack patterns.
Your movement is fucking surgical, mate. The lightning bolts are the worst, the rest of Adam's kit is completely fine, dodging all those RNG-based AOEs is an absolute pain in the ass, especially in the context of his other abilities, so it was very fitting and enjoyable that Adam said "Impossible" at the end.
I just did hour 2 of brutal Adam attempts today. Still only forced p2 once. By far the hardest boss for me. Whats the reasoning behind using the spider ult?
This boss is on another level, I imagine most people struggle on it for a while. Good luck with your attempts!
My main reasoning behind the spider ult was to gain more damage for P2, because the double shields don't do much damage blocking his P2 attacks. Out of all the damage ults, it has the fastest cast time and least risk in getting hit while casting it. The spiders also don't trigger his bubble shield like the skeletons would.
For a long time I was using Heartstrike for extra avoidance in case the lightning whirl corners me in P2 until I learned how to kite it consistently even in a small area. When I stopped needing it, I could afford more damage.

If you were to stomp on adam,what blood type would you recommend for the fight?
If you don't have much movement speed from gear, I would go with rogue or creature blood, because otherwise dodging all the area effects is painful. If your movement speed is fine, I would go with warrior or brute blood for extra damage reduction, life leech, and physical damage.
btw do you actually press 5678 keys?
what you have them rebound to?
I press those keys to swap weapons. In hindsight, some other keys would have been more efficient, but as an old WoW player, I didn't question using the number keys and just got used to them over time.

it seems that keep the distance near Adam is much better than far distance, he won't release the big AOE thing. Same as Dracula.
Yep. As long as you don't stay on his close melee range whenever he attacks, as he will hit through the shields. Keeping the beams up most of the fight actually helps you restrict yourself to not go too far from him.
first phase he's a kitten, second phase he's a lion. Do you think this boss can be killed without pistols (ignore the getting hit part)?
Sure, any weapon works as long as you have at least 1 i-frame from the weapons. For a while, I was practicing the fight with Greatsword or Slashers as my main weapon, but you have to remember to get out of melee range every time you shield, because he hits through the shield if you're too close. Also, if you're around his level and don't care about getting hit, probably the easiest way to kill him is with Greatsword and some heals (life leech, blood counter, etc.) and damage reduction from gear or blood. You can just circle around him and swing your sword, occasionally healing yourself if you happen to get hit.

@@polo99a9 I-frames is a shorthand term for invincibility frames. So times when you don't take damage even if you get hit. The Dash abilities, Slashers Q ability, Greatsword E ability, and Pistols E ability give you i-frames, so you're invulnerable while that ability is happening.

@@loopuleasa Yea that's what I'm afraid of too. I'm not yet sure if it is even possible. I might have to resort to some higher-rolled jewels and weapons. And some damage consumables. Will need to experiment a lot to find out the limits.

There's a keybinding for cancelling spells and attacks. I have it on mouse side button which was probably the default, but you can find it from the settings menu.
