I just feel very bad for Mikasa. Aside from the war with initially Marley, dealing with the Jaegarists, and the rumbling. Mikasa has just been through so much in the final season, and when she said that, my heart sunk and just felt so bad just seeing the defeat on her face :(

She gave up spending her last 6 years left with the low of her life so she could help a couple of lost devils from the Marleyan Warrior Program. Truly a complex person who was ultimately good in her core Ironic bc Krista/Historia started as a bit of a doormat that Ymir taught to be more assertive, and Ymir was a hardass Historia taught to be kinder. They both brought out the best in each other

The genius of Eren’s character this season is that nothing he does feels like he wants to do it. He doesn’t want to start the rumbling, he just thinks there is no other choice. He doesn’t want to leave Mikasa but he is worried he will hurt her. It’s brilliant writing and I can’t wait to see how he turns out in part 3. I haven’t read the manga and don’t intend to, but Isayama deserves some serious awards for this work.
I don’t think I’ll get over this last episode for a while. Eren’s tears hit so much and then his “What am I to you” moment. Sheesh, AOT is so painful. Just knowing what comes next makes me beyond sad.

Mikasa is not deep or complex character lol, she barely say something, she doesn't have any meaningful scenario or script, her only line is erehhhh, muh sCaRf, she is just bland without opinions, since episode 1 she didn't say anything about main problem (titan curse) ,she doesn't have any monologue or inner conflicts, her only monologue was about ereh question in chapter 130, she was completely irrelevant to the plot until 139 , Kenny and levi carried Ackerman plot in uprising arc , even he azumabito subplot did nothing to her character, during season 1 she was just barking erehhh, killing some titans, season 2 barking erehhh, she broke her ribs, wanted to kiss eren after hannes death, season 3 she did nothing except fighting reiner with squad, because (erwin, Kenny, levi , Zeke, historia, armin carried season 3, )she was just background character for barking erehhh, season 4 pt 1she was barking erehhh, fight against Warhammer titan, she also has no meaningful lines or interesting ideas, Again Season 4 pt 2 she only fight punch of noobs ( yeagerist) without any meaningful scenario, she has no narrative purpose😂

To me, it's more symbolic if Mikasa doesn't married to a other bc she has only Eren in her heart. But if the cliché view (=a woman need a marriage to be happy in Life) is confirm then good for whom agree about Mikasa's mariage idc, i keep in my mind the other interpretation which is so much more symbolic not out of character and this is only my opinion. Mikasa is not the one who made me appreciate the romantic bond between her and Eren. It was him, Eren. Why ? It's simple, firstly their romance is written differently from other love story we can see. It's a silent love we have on Eren's side where he watches her silently and lovingly. Isayama loves to show Eren's romantic feelings through his eyes, we've seen this many times as he looks at her, a look of pure love, longing and sadness. He knows he will die and cannot live a normal and free love life with Mikasa because of his miserable fate. Mikasa represents the beauty in this cruel world in Eren's eyes and not to forget that she is drawn the prettiest in Eren's pov from the beginning(said by Isayama) which says it all. She is the freedom he can never have but still he tried knowing all that with the "What Am I To You" question, he was tired of everything, his real freedom was to live with Mikasa but he failed. Also when the scenes are focused on Eren and Mikasa, we have those violet flowers which represents endless and real love. A moment which is important as well. In the OVA when Grisha said to Mikasa "That rage of his is going to take him to a very dangerous place so that's why I've decided to take Eren to the mountains where you live. If he can live with you surrounded by nature, something might change inside of him for the better" "Perhaps you are the only one able to protect Eren from that great power" a scene we later see in chap 138 where they ran away together surrounded by nature, Eren gave up that rage of his to live his 4 remaining years with Mikasa. Chap 50 is also very important, when Eren was hopeless and desesperate, Mikasa's words gave him strengh and hope again which gave him a new power of the coordinate. He didn't even know that, yet he punched a titan with just his bare hands to protect her and promised to wrap the scarf around her as many times as she wants, now and forever which we later see in chap 139 with the bird who represents Eren. Now, the scene where he was judged in season 1, they wanted to eliminate him, they were saying bad and false things about him yet he stayed calm and didn't really care. Opposite to when they started to talk about Mikasa, saying they should dissect her... He went absolutely bersek in an instant " NO! I may be a monster but she has nothing to do with that". He nearly broke the chains that were holding him when they mentionned Mikasa. Finally coming to chap 139. Eren had kept his feelings deep inside of him, locked up. He loved her silently but as he was about to die, he finally burst out his romantic feelings for Mikasa that he couldn't say out loud. He cried, he screamed, he regrets that he couldn't live a normal and free life with Mikasa, the woman he loved so much this whole time. That's what make it beautiful in my eyes, it is a different written love story. Tragic yet beautiful. In an other life.🧣🕊 She was his beauty in this cruel world and the one who set him free from the curse. Eren and Mikasa deserves each others more than anything.

Since watching the ending, I've literally just noticed that Mikasa's hair style and what she's wearing in this vids thumbnail doesn't come about till the very end. A fitting way to show how the scarf ties them together and represents Mikasa's never ending love for Eren.
Every time I think I’m free from the pain that the ending brought me… Sam Kim releases another cover and I’m right back where I started. Such a beautiful, tragic, bittersweet ending.
Eren has always been caring for his friends and Mikasa but never showed to others especially after seeing the future after historia crowning. This episode was only moment where he tried to be himself and enjoy to the fullest with his friends, before his biggest decision

Beautiful. It's really hard for me to understand why this couple evokes such extreme emotions of fans from love to hate. I haven't watched much anime. I associate a few titles where at the end there was some kind of pair between the characters and although in those titles there were always couples who were not liked by me, it did not change my assessment of the anime itself. I have never seen any major quarrels about this or that choice of the author. And in the case of AoT, these are really two different poles. It was honestly obvious to me that this pair would be confirmed sooner or later.

The heartbreak, it’s unimaginable, why does is hurt so much I dont know, it just hurts, AOT is an absolute masterpiece, its subject is Love and everything around it, its like the world and the universe or whatever it is cannot be at peace by letting someone, or those two together
I started watching AoT more or less a year ago. I watched the first season and ultimately I thought it was not that interesting so I stopped. A week ago I gave it another chance because I was seeing a lot of stuff about Eren that implied he changed completely and was now bad and I wanted to know what made him change from that little boy from the first season to that. I binged the whole anime in a week and I have to say it’s now one of my favorite animes. After the end of final season part 2 I couldn’t wait a year to know what was going to happen so I read the manga for the remaining part… I have to say, the ending and the explanation for why he did what he did blew me away. And the unfinished, untold but much felt love story of him and Mikasa … Bro I cried like a baby

It's really hard for me to understand why this couple evokes such extreme emotions of fans from love to hate. I haven't watched much anime. I associate a few titles where at the end there was some kind of pair between the characters and although in those titles there were always couples who were not liked by me, it did not change my assessment of the anime itself. I have never seen any major quarrels about this or that choice of the author. And in the case of AoT, these are really two different poles. It was honestly obvious to me that this pair would be confirmed sooner or later.

I started watching AoT more or less a year ago. I watched the first season and ultimately I thought it was not that interesting so I stopped. A week ago I gave it another chance because I was seeing a lot of stuff about Eren that implied he changed completely and was now bad and I wanted to know what made him change from that little boy from the first season to that. I binged the whole anime in a week and I have to say it’s now one of my favorite animes. After the end of final season part 2 I couldn’t wait a year to know what was going to happen so I read the manga for the remaining part… I have to say, the ending and the explanation for why he did what he did blew me away. And the unfinished, untold but much felt love story of him and Mikasa … Bro I cried like a baby
