Had another beautiful baby girl after that and now finally a boy on the way within the next month, third times a charm I suppose, lol. Other than that, yes phase shift is the biggest fucking crutch.. its so annoying when i get competitive and EVERYONE is using either phase or stim on the other team. I still get kills, but its so annoying having them phase at the last second. Im getting better at guessing where people will go but i would really like it if it were changed or just taken out all together.

I personally deal with campers either by flanking like you did or using their advantage to a disadvantage. When i see on Angel City 3-4 guys camping I'll change to either the G2, the EPG or a sniper rifle. I know where they are and i know more or less what they expect. And since most players don't know how to play sniper properly (changing your position every so often instead of sitting on one roof for 4 and minutes etc.) i get for 1 to 2 deaths 3 to 4 kills(and either they go to the same position over and over again or not for 3 to 5 minutes). Works for me best on these sniper Maps (Angel City, Homestead, Eden, Colony sometimes and Crash Site)
Paper Cut2U Gaming and it either prevents them from camping there again for a while and if they go back you get the advantage of knowing where they are while they have to expect you from everywhere. Also i got a kind of slow playstyle so I'm not good at flanking and the sniper variation is kind of my way of getting the job done without the need of changing my whole playstyle.

Yep, you mentioned strafing superiority and basics. Maybe it's something a lot of us think we know but don't have it down tight. Maybe some solid aiming tips, strafe aiming etc. to curb spray and pray behavior.

Phase Shift isn't OP by itself I think, it's an anti-camper tac and a panic button ability. Other tacticals let you manipulate the battle to engage in preferable conditions, Phase Shift doesn't let you do that, it does however let you reset the encounter midway to negate the advantages other players have elbowed for themselves using their tacs. It's an anti-tactical ability basically, and nerfing it would mean dismantling A-wall & sentry camps would always take ages. Now, its synergy with Tactikill, that's what leads to Gamesager's shenanigans. Tactikill is too strong, and its synergy with a two-charge ability means that you get most of a charge after every kill, enabling you to use it potentially infinitely.
I watched your mobility video but man.... how can you move so smooth around the map I try to do this but I keep getting stuck or .... what do you call it "wash out"? Doing the bunny hope but a long the way some how I lose all momentum.... What do you think

The Cold War is difficult but it sure can be fun to use in maps like Complex. While wall running you can bomb your enemies. With an A-wall it is great against Titans.
in my opinion phase shift is alright, because when u get out of it in a close quarters situation u cant really see where they move and also u kinda see the person while they in phase shift which u can counter and kill them easily
Oh! You must be the inspiration for my use of the L-Star. Doing better with it than the Hemlock. I understand it must be OP if you don't suffer from the trade-off that the one burst kill works if you can shoot where you want when you want. I'll openly admit that my aim is just...rubbish. I have bad habits I fall into at times which allow camper to get me. I tend to overanalyse. This means I *can* stop moving, which is just stupid. It isn't camping in an advantageous position, it is just trying to decide how not to die. In the process, I either get executed or I just don't get enough kills. One place I struggle to get even at is Angel City. I remember trying to grapple all the way to the high point where they were sniping from. They heard and we're waiting for me. Embarrassing death! 😂 Got them with Ion's laser (even though I'm not a good shot), but they got a lot of kills. Interesting that people complain about the A-wall punishing players using mobility. I suppose Phase shift is a pretty good counter. hey paper cut i have known you way pack from the destiny vids but i have a problem so i have a b hopin on lock down i know my timing everything but for the air strafing i can do it and it my makes my b hop looks slow i don't use deadzone but people say it helps im on evolved would really like to know more about air strafing im on ps4
Air strafing is just bunny hopping while holding both sticks either left or right. Just make sure you are press the left analog stick all the way to the side, while tilting the right analog towards the same side. If you can bunny hop you should be able to ski. Did that help? do you have auto sprint on?
phase shift isn't too OP. just stay decently close and reposition to confuse the phase user and when he gets out of phase you actually see them first while they are a lil blinded by their own phase and that's your moment to kill them.

Sure it's useful as hell, but it sure does take a while to charge and it's disorienting as hell after coming out as they usually spend a second or two having to look around wondering where everyone is. A good player can easily predict where a phase is going to exit and pop them before they get a chance to recover their sense. And actually I feel like Grapple is a huge crutch for mobility. I love Grapple, it's fun to use and very handy, but I didn't get good at mobility until I started using Phase Shift because it doesn't effect my mobility (aside from some godmode so I don't get killed). Using phase means you really gotta know how to get good with the movement system or else it's not very useful.
were you using a mouse adapter? I don't know how the hell you could look around so fast withe the Xbox controller, even the elite doesn't have that capability
I haven't played in about 2 years. Due to life circumstances. I chose travel and fast cars over video games (and even a TV), but I do miss TF2. Hopefully by Christmas, I'll be able to treat myself a little. 90% sure I'm going to get a large promotion. Thanks for all the good gameplay. I think you're the closest to my own style. I miss fighting titans as a pilot (and winning). I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield.
Show us how to use the kraber aggressively. I've got it to gen 3. I just get bored because I don't feel like it fits every map. But other than that I enjoy the content !!
Camping just means you are not actively going around the map for a majority of a match. everyone has their own playstyle, you don't have to do what the other guy does. However, in my experience more active players will improve their game more than stagnant ones. The reasoning is that if you are waiting for people to come to you you are going to have less engagements(less practice going up against other players) and you also get less practice with the mobility system. I suggest finding the mid ground between movement and positioning. GL.
I don't know if ur familiar with the car smg, but if you are good with the mobility, it's probably the most enjoyable and effective weapon in the game. High speed kills galore

Phase shift is not OP. you can follow their trail or if you're smarter, keep moving once you see the dude phase. Go crazy and just bounce off of everything. you stand a greater chance of surviving against a guy with a phase shift.
I Know this is an old video but I wanted to watch something like this after listening to gamesager complain all video about campers and G2 players. Really its just like you said TF2 allows the best mechanics to take out campers, its honestly why I think they haven't really done anything bout the A-wall or G2/devotion. There is no reason to bitch about it. I can't imagine what its like in other fps games where campers are even harder to counter. Great video, especially since you did a lot of it with the L-star/doubletake.
When i first started playing i was into the a-wall big time. However, as I and others learned the movement system it got weaker. I tried using it a bit ago and i hated it. Once you have multiple people flying around the level and flanking the a-wall doesn't perform as well. Gamesager will complain about anything that he doesn't like or use :P

Changing to a sniper for a life, and going for the revenge kill is a good way to throw people off their game.

Unfortunately you cannot get past a full team of campers camping together with planned positions that cover every entrance

don't spam, time it out. you can also try switching to hold to crouch. then you only have to worry about timing the jump and not the crouch.

2 years later, and I think grapple is king. He can counter almost as much as phase shift but twice. They left spots in the game just for Grapple :/

Try using the SMR! its not the best weapon but it just feels so good imo

I like to change titans through out the match depending on whats happening , I hate phase shifters ,stim or grapple all the way
Phase shift is not OP. you can follow their trail or if you're smarter, keep moving once you see the dude phase. Go crazy and just bounce off of everything. you stand a greater chance of surviving against a guy with a phase shift.

I completely agree with you about phase shift. it's the only thing in this game that I can't stand.
I would just make phase shift take up the whole bar instead of getting two uses if it had to be changed at all.

I Know this is an old video but I wanted to watch something like this after listening to gamesager complain all video about campers and G2 players. Really its just like you said TF2 allows the best mechanics to take out campers, its honestly why I think they haven't really done anything bout the A-wall or G2/devotion. There is no reason to bitch about it. I can't imagine what its like in other fps games where campers are even harder to counter. Great video, especially since you did a lot of it with the L-star/doubletake.
When i first started playing i was into the a-wall big time. However, as I and others learned the movement system it got weaker. I tried using it a bit ago and i hated it. Once you have multiple people flying around the level and flanking the a-wall doesn't perform as well. Gamesager will complain about anything that he doesn't like or use :P
