    i have been watching you since 2012, when I was 10 years old. I have always been so inspired by you, even though I am a guy lol. You're style and mods are so sweet. I will always be a big fan. You helped me become the person I am today, and a person I am happy to be. Keep it going! You are beautiful :)

    Oooh this was super helpful. I have been wanting to do another ear piercing. My stupid tragus fell out and I didn't realize it until it had already closed. I loved it but it was such a pain in the but in terms of healing because of headphones and my ears get itchy with allergies. So I have been on the fence about getting it redone. I'm 51 and I have short hair typically either a pixie or shaved head so ear piercings are totally my jam. Never thought about doing a conch so this video has shown me that it's going to be my next piercing for sure. I've wanted a industrial/platform for years but my piercer says no. I listen to her because I have been going to her for more than a decade, if she says I won't like it, I probably won't. It's the benefit of going to the same person forever, they know you.

      Sounds like you have found a great piercer! I have too. I love it when they understand exactly what you like. 😊

    It looks so healthy and nice, I know everyone is different but seeing yours made me feel more confident about getting it. I just got a helix and after 2 months it’s doing great, so I’m hopeful for a conch to be nice to me hahaha 🤩✨ (my industrial bar and tragus gave me issues for a long time before they healed so I’m always expecting the worst XD)

    It looks dope! I can’t believe you’re 40! You always look like you’re in your late twenties to me! I hope I look that good when I age!

    It looks great! I want to get that piercing as well but I was worried about how difficult it would be to wear with headphones (I have big ones for work) so I've been putting it off, but now I really want to get mine done too!

      Get bigger pads for the headphones, then you can go around the conch 😊 that's what I did.

    I've been thinking about getting a conch piercing too. I might get it done after I've had my hand finished tattooing

    Two months sounds incredibly soon to be changing the jewelry on a cartilage piercing. Maybe you could downsize it but it’s probably not wise to completely switch out the jewelry at that time because it’ll still be healing for at least six months. The conch is one of the most difficult piercings for a lot of people to heal so I would be surprised if yours healed in two months.

    • @aangeltheicon
      @aangeltheicon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A ring is definitely not a good idea until it’s fully healed closer to the nine month mark. If you change it to early you will cause irritation to the piercing unnecessarily I know that you said you were interested in the shortest healing time possible but you really should be interested in the most healthy he’ll time possible and putting low-quality jewelry in the pier saying right away is away is irritate it.
      I know it’s your body and you’ll do as you wish but you also have a platform and a responsibility to maybe not endorse bad decisions in front of a large audience.

      @@aangeltheicon That's not at all what I said. What I did in fact say was that the healing has been good so far, but that I know piercings can be tricky and that issues can still arise even though it's been great so far. I also said that I will of course not change the jewellery until the piercing is fully healed, and that two months is just the lowest bar for the healing time.
      Relax.

    I am currently struggling with my conch. 15 years ago I got my industrial and it healed like a dream and since I've had zero problems. My conch was deceiving, the first month it was calm and zero crust and then about 2 months in it got a lump on the back. The lump goes away when I wash it daily with sea salt and water but then a week after the lump comes back. It doesn't hurt or itch but is clearly a sign its unhappy so I've been hesitant to change the jewelry and its been 8 months and it just won't stop coming and going! I haven't given up yet but who knows maybe my body doesn't heal cartlidge piercings as good as it use to

      Have you tried using a No Pull Piercing Disc on it? They have always helped my stubborn cartilage piercings heal!

    I recently retired my 3 helix piercings because I find them too uncomfortable to sleep on.. I've been considering a conch instead, but I'm worried about the same outcome :/ My favorite is the cluster jewelry you can wear in it! Does the back of the jewelry touch the side of your head when laying down?

    • @TezManiaTV
      @TezManiaTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the healing jewellery, no, it does not. Not so that I can feel it, at least. So a labret (with a flat back) is probably optimal for a conch.

    What a shame to get a piercing at the best place on earth at calm and then to put the worst quality jewellery stuff from crazy factory in it 😣

    • @TezManiaTV
      @TezManiaTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have zero issues with Crazy Factory. And I like switching my jewellery out a lot and having tons of options. I have no need for expensive jewellery, but I do want the piercing itself to be done by the best.
