Recently finished my build with this same exact upper 1000 rounds through it so far zero issues other than it gets hot real fast like y’all said! Love the channel boys keep doing your thing!!
Gents. I have the PSA 16” lightweight upper its been doing good. I also got the jakl and the sabre. The Sabre was sent back due to a barrel issue but they took care of it…
Best uppers for the money are B. King's Firearms uppers. I would buy the 223 wylde 16'' Govt profile 1/8 twist 15'' slim m-lok rail for 208.36 anything over 250.00 free shipping and no tax.
May I ask a question nobody seems to want answer? I have a suppressor for my Glock 17 and when I decide on my first budget AR-15 and it has the same barrel thread as my Glock, can I use suppressor on AR also with no issues? Started with BCA, then Diamond, now maybe PSA, any thoughts, I want it to be able to be part of protection of my home if needed! New subscriber thank you!
You're upper and lower are not well matched. Your brass ejection is pretty far forward, which means your bolt velocity is too high. This might be called over-gassed. Equivalently, this could be considered under-buffered and/or over-sprung. I don't know what the buffer is in your lower, but if it's a carbine 3.5 oz buffer, you might try an H or H2 buffer, which will slow the bolt velocity and allow the brass time to get out of the ejection port before closing on it and stovepiping. I know you guys were just trying to test the upper, but since the recoil system is in the lower, the upper and lower are not completely independent. Maybe you guys already know this, but i thought folks watching this with little AR experience might benefit.

If your AR is chambered in 9mm then yes. Otherwise no.
