Great vid and coverage of what may be the ultimate Bubits design. Google Wilhelm Bubits for reference. BUT YOU FORGOT THIS GUNS BIGGEST MODERN ADVANTAGE! The enclosed top of the slide means almost zero chance of a round striking the optic and inducing a malfunction.

11:53 I was considering picking up the new Kimber but when I picked it up in the store I was soooo sad about those grip panels. They add zero grip and are clearly for esthetics rather than function. I ended up saving $800 and picked up a FN FNX9 instead and I don’t regret it at all.

BHP Solutions has the perfect upgrade trigger for it. They have a TH-cam channel and video's on it. Look them up. It's just a Browning. Just like the 1911. Once you learn how to service and modify Browning designs you are going to be a lot better Off.

I have asked CZ twice if i could get 3 dot tritium sights and a decocker on the Compact, like on my P-09. No answer. It is not a carry option as cureenrly configured.

First off thanks for doing the video, question per your review on the trigger does this mean the trigger is different from the standard R7 mako?

My issue with the gun is the ejection port, TFB had a lefty shooting it and it was causing malfunctions.

I have the original version and it’s honestly a great gun. Very comfortable, smooth shooting and pretty good grip.

I actually dont mind the gun it doesnt look that bad and you can tell a fair ammount of innovation went into making that frame and slide. Only downside I see is the price, it should be in the 600/700$ range. You can get a TTI Canik or a Steel Rival for that price, which are far superior.

Have to disagree on the irons the fact you have adjustable rear sight with a fiber front is way more superior.. plus with a light on the rail you really don’t need night sights. Not that I even use irons since I’m running ch precision plate with rear irons and an sro😢
