Queen Rajyalaxmi Bhanjdeo was the daughter of the late Nepal king Tribhuvan Vir Vikram Shah at Kathmandu .She married Maharaja Pratap Chandra Bhanjdeo and become the queen of the Mayurbhanj district. She died on 2020 . In this sense Mayurbhanj and Nepal has good relation.

When mayurbhanj state was merge with Odisha state or India on between that period many adivasi people were lost there life, but Govt has has done nothing.
Is that the unity has done by sardar patel ji under V.P Menon ji. I am asking it is worth that our people lost there life because of this .

Mayurbhanj princely state merged with the independent India and Odisha was a province.Before that Mayurbhanj was a prominent state among Orissa Princely States.Unfortunately some Adivasis were bribed by Bihar Government and agitated to merge Mayurbhanj with Bihar.That time Odisha had already lost Singhbhum,Seraikela and Kharsawan in the similar cause and merged with Bihar.Bihari leaders bribed Jharkhandi leaders and propagated Adivasi of Mayurbhanj to merge with Bihar.Mayurbhanj have 62 racial tribes and Odia language is the prominent among them.Hence its justified.
