Hello! This is Max from the elevator story. Always cool to hear the story read out and glad the video gave you a laugh. 40 minutes really wasn’t too bad to be in there. It felt a lot longer though! I’ll drop some more nightmares to you soon, as I’m trying to make my writing better in preparation for a 40k narrative campaign. I haven’t played 40k since 8th as I fell out with the game but over the last few years and listening to you have come to appreciate the setting much more. Have a good one!
Time's just so subjective. 40.minutes is nothing when you're having a romp with a significant other, but must seem like an absolute eternity in a situation like that. I'm not all that bothered about small spaces etc, but no thanks! Edit: on the second story - I have no real issues with recast, _as long as they're upfront about it_ . If they're selling recasts as the genuine article, that's a different story and they deserve all they get.
I actually got trapped in a lift at Warhammer World between Christmas and new year on my first visit, 2 hour journey and with my 1 year old son and partner hahaha.
I do the same with having a couple armies ready to go if someone comes round but with Star Wars Legion. I like that people can play the clone wars at mine and have some flexibility with writing the lists to play.
To the writers on northern exiles channel i really wish there was more emphasis on what armys and models are being collected or played with in the storys it sometimes makes it hard or difficult to follow or understand
@11:26 I often play with myself.. seriously though I play solo hammer on my kitchen table at least once a week, roughly 700ish pts each army, lasts a bit longer than a normal pvp game as having to remember two sets of army and unit rules is a pain, although I’m surprisingly forgiving to myself on both sides for take backs and forgotten abilities etc. all in all I’d say I’ve never played a game against an opponent I like more than myself, turns out we’ve a lot in common.
I have experience with eBay sellers, both as a long-time one and frequent buyer. I bought a Dimachaeron back in 2021 for a reasonable deal, but still not far off a legit FW purchase. When it arrived I immediately spotted the layer lines telltale of a 3d print. The size and weight were also off (slightly and massively, respectively). The seller was hesitant to communicate with me, but I escalated to eBay support and they basically forced him to refund the model and have me return it. Speaking very frankly, as a seller or buyer, if I don’t see the FW receipt of authenticity/original box, it’s not FW resin and you should not pay FW prices.
new to the franchise, have never played the tabletop game on principle (shockingly overpriced) but this video made me aware that recasts exist. I am definitely going to buy and paint recasts now. For reference I have a Gundam collection worth a lot of money. It is also the same horrible hobby of buying plastic. Except at least I get more than 4 grams of plastic per $20 spent.
Try and find bundles for your chaff. Definitely recast the fancy things. I've gotten lucky on the discounts on my armies, and some lucky secret Santa's
@@CharlesRichelieu i wouldn't say objectively, maybe to you. It's the only game I've played since it came out. What games do you play that makes sm2 seem so bad?
@@john12644 Doesn't really matter what you say. SM2 is objectively bad, just because you have bad taste doesn't make it any better. Sm1 was better in every way and was actually lore accurate.
@CharlesRichelieu hey your not wrong about sm1 and I get your upset it didn't live up to your expectations. But your acting a bit like a petulant child if I don't like something nobody else can and their taste must be bad.

My first 2 40k armies were mirrors, necrons, and admech
Six of us got stuck in an elevator on a mates stag do. It's funny now but not at the time
This weeks episode was very wholesome
I just love hearing the English in any tense scenario. Always so calm and polite.

They obviously didn't try there accents for the number 11. Clearly don't know how lifts work ........IYKYK 😂
Stop playing trash games in the backround.
This must be bait 😂😂
@@john12644 Not unless truth is now bait. sm2 is objectively a garbage game.
