Hi, Here in Brazil, hydrated lime is used to protect Cladodes from the sun, diluted in a proportion of 1 kilo to 10 liters of water and applied with a costal pump.
Very very interesting video. I am coming crazier everytime i watch videos like this one!!!! What kind of sand you use pls? I am going to make another two pots and i wish to try your mix.
True, they shared as well and even with Elk Creek. I said that because Elk Creek helped to start Wallace Ranch, Oceanside Dragon Fruit, Delight Dragon Delights, Sun Dragons, and Heritage Farms to name a few.
I'm up in the Central Valley. Really hot summers 100o +. I have some sunburned plants but they are growing well other than they have thin stalks. Do you think the thin stalks are a result of water frequency/amount, fertilizer, or sun issue? Thanks.
Could be many things, but sometimes dragons make small branches the first season and then makes thicker branches as the roots develop more and the plant matures
Those damn trees of heaven are “trees of hell” !!! Those damn trees attract SOOOOOO MANY SPOTTED LATERN FLIES in PA it’s SICKENING!!! I’m considering moving because of how many latern flies those damn trees bring! They’re the host trees for those invasive bugs! Invasive trees for invasive bugs! Great vudeo
It does seem to grow slower than other varieties. Our plants are just now starting to bud. I’m excited to see the flowers and try the fruit for myself.

Thanks, they use sand that comes from a local wash or dry river bed. Silica and decomposed granite.
Super awesome video Paul, Horse Manure??!? Hmmm, like the posts !!
thanks
I always use 40% sand and 40% vermicompost+20% soil......best and economical so far...
Compost in potting soil is good for the short term, bad for long term. Top dress with compost.
I actually credit the UC Pitahaya/Dragon Fruit Festivals for distributing cuttings and getting growers started.

Do you provide private tours of your farm?
Contact them :)
Nice rgarden
Thank you
I need some vitnamese white cuttings
That one is pretty common. I don't grow it, sorry
How about decomposed granite for the drainage instead of just river sand.
I like the granite and trace minerals that come from the creek.
Yes, that is another option too
Hey paul. You mentioned about sands. What type of sand did you used? Can I get them at my local store? Thanks
I use the sand at Home Depot or Lowes that is by the gravel... It says it is safe for potting soil.
@@RAREDRAGONFRUIT awesome. Thanks
I would just make the pots concrete too

Hi
Are you selling cuttings?
Yes, sometimes. email me
50-50 sand and what else🤔
Creek sand, Patio Plus from Home Depot, organic chicken compost, organic bone meal, worm tea
💩 poop 😅
Thanks!
Lol, that too
Maybe keeps a small group of chickens might eat those bugs
Good idea, but I always see them a few feet from the ground.
Sand?
yup
lots of sand
@sundragonfarms9806 just Subscribed, amazing farm bro, I also just got started last year and I have 69 Diferent Varieties in 30 trellises 😅
Biscuits or ProBäscas?? Hate to correct you Paul; but did you forget to eat lunch? Maybe hungry with biscuit on the brain?
Yup, I remembered later on.
Why does he like Hana less and less every year?
He says the growth is quite slow, amazing taste, and flower, just Growth
Yes, and also because it splits early when ripening and isn't as sweet as some of the other undatus varieties we grow.
