I have a request for a video with this mouse. You can configure it to work with the right stick, which controls the camera, so you have a redundant controller. I know it may seem silly, but for example on gamepads you can use the right joystick to make quick camera movements and the gyroscope for precise movements, it is known as a flick stick.
Having lost the use of my right arm and hand, I resorted to a more off-the-shelf solution; Foot pedals and a Razer Naga. I use foot pedals for movement and the Naga for well, mouse stuff along with the 17 extra inputs, more than enough for most games.
That said, I wonder how a non-handicapped person would do with my setup, that's up to 6 extra keys on the foot pedal that can be used simultaneously! Imagine aiming and shooting on the mouse while jump-crouch strafing diagonally on the keyboard and I don't know, using the canned chat menus to send a "surprise!" or something.
Or perhaps in a more recent scenario, be able to call a strategem whilst moving/dodging and shooting in Helldivers 2.
I'm now waiting for all the things to come together in one
Ive got cubital tunnel in the left hand, so my pinky and ring finger become more of an inconvenience when kbm playing. This is literally what i need lol

A vertical mouse is better as it helps prevent wrist strain and keeps your arm in a more comfortable neutral position.
But it's not really something you'll notice until the instant it becomes an issue.
Sincerely: someone where the aforementioned problems became an issue after nearly 25 years straight of it not being an issue.
do you tent your keyboard too because some boards can tent to a 60 degree angle an 15 degree in reverse

you could have put the buttons to the right side of the mouse so that you could move around while pressing buttons (you wouldnt have to remove your thumb from the joystick)
this would make moving the mouse very difficult left and right, since now you have buttons on both sides and no fingers to support the movement (same reason why gaming mice only have buttons near the thumb)
@@juskim but using your pinkies wouldn't hurt and would be so much easier to get used to and you could also be more efficient by not taking off your thumb from the joystick
