Youssou N'Dour is Senegalese. His French sounds at times like Portuguese and Arabic. He also sings some lines in Wolof a language widely spoken in Senegal. "7 Seconds" is from 1994. It was the biggest hit of his career which began in 1976. He performed with Peter Gabriel in the eighties and many other superstars in the years since, Wyclef Jean, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen among them. Neneh Cherry is the step daughter of legendary avant-garde jazz trumpeter Don Cherry, who played with Ornette Coleman, John Coltrane, Charlie Haden, and Sun Ra among others. Her voice slays. Have you heard "Crazy" by Seal yet? That's from 1991. It fits well with this song.

Nathan really is hearing it for the first time. Surreal how his admiration for the song shines through.

Neneh Cherry has a brother who goes by Eagle-Eye Cherry. His song called Save Tonight was a banger in the Nineties. That’s worth a reaction.

Curved Air had some sweet violin solos.
The song was about racism and how every baby is innocent until corrupted by its environment and the people raising it.
    I think
