I'm seeing this 3 weeks late but the fill around 6:45 had me thinking you were going to play Metalingus by Alter Bridge, the kit just made it sound so authentic.
I miss my old Pearl Masters maple kit. Was hard off for money during college, had to quit the band and sell them for 1,000 bucks. It still hurts. That kit sounded so amazing with just good quality mics hooked up. The Audix D6 made the kick SLAP.
A drum kit that sounds amazing is priceless, selling such a thing isn't worth the money you get out of it... Better to take the guitar / keyboard from the other band members and sell those 🤣

I’m more into the BIG thunderous kick like John Bonham had but that’s just a personal preference thing. Your chops and crazy awesome attitude make every one of your videos rock faces off! My dad worked in a production studio at night and I’d go with him. They had basically the most expensive pearl masterworks something or other with all of the highest tier hardware and a huge set of paiste 2002 cymbals. I learned to play drums on this baby. From the first beat i was spoiled. When I joined bands later in life and played at any other function, the drums seemed like a toy in comparison. The sound difference is literally night and day. It also started my obsession with those fiberskyn heads. But sadly I’ve not been able to convince anyone else to use them. I wonder if they’d let me just play the kit again if I randomly showed up? Lol
