I've listened to 100s of Villalobos tracks at this point and the YT algo consistently pops out 10s more every time. The depth of this man's music is deeper than the Titanic. Alone at the top

People who don't understand this, why so long so repetative, because of the mixing options it has to offer, and its meant to be played on big speakers, so you feel the full dynamic range of the low end.

I also love it. You'd be surprised though, at the number of people I would play this style of music for. People you wouldn't necessarily think of. I've put this flavor of music in my home and watched people in their mid 60s on up, bopping around to this. More exposure please!

Well he does have his hits and misses and not everything he touches turns to gold but this is definitely not boring nor repetitive, it's actually quite catchy and happy in it's own way(for a Villalobos creation that is..), but hey everyone's entitled to his\her own opinion and not everyone has to like it. I think a lot of his records are meant to be mixed together with something else. There is a video recording on Dancetrippin' of Ricardo himself mixing this with a record which has a rather dramatic break with violins. The break along with shouts of 'hansup, hansup' just works perfectly. I think the same goes for Enfants (Chants) on Sei Es Drum

I've had this belief for a long time that Ricardo and Aphex Twin understand sound, all of its compositions, synths, bass, etc. better than any other living artists. My personal favorite right now is Harrison BDP, who has a lot of Ricardo in his him from a creativity standpoint, but my god, do Ricardo and Aphex separate themselves... another shout out to Hostox. He is also godly.
