Compiling a list because this seems really helpful and I don't wanna keep referring back to the vid :))) The Creator: - what do you want your legacy in the world to be - do you think you're are creative? Why? - how can you cultivate thinking outside the box in yourself - do you have a life passion - do you want to pursue that passion at the expense of everything else - are you a perfectionist The Lover: - are you a sensitive person - do you act impulsively - when were you last heartbroken (Adding one on my own because this arcana seems underused) - are you complete, when you are alone The Magician - when did you last use knowledge or manipulation - is the universe working to your advantage - what would you wish to change, wordly or otherwise (Again I'm adding something) - if you fail, do you look for what you should have done, or to understand how you were wrong The Caregiver - who relies on you, how - who do you rely on yourself - who do you rely on online - where do you self sacrifice The Sage - who is someone that had profound impact on you - is there something you want to learn more about - why haven't you investigated it yet (Adding smth) - are you growing more outwardly or inwardly - is advice you give reflective of deeper truth, or practical in the moment - how do you imagine yourself as an old person The Everyperson (removing the gendered descriptor) - what skill are you completely average at - what is the oldest object you still use everyday (..) - do you ever do things just because they are different from how things are normally done - what do you gain from 'the simple things in life', are they fulfilling The Hero_ine - what is the bravest thing you've done - where are you too arrogant (..) - what is the greatest thing you could achieve - are you sometimes doing something on your own to prove to yourself you can do it The Jester - do you feel funny - do you take things seriously - have you ever found humor in a serious situation (..) - do you punch up or down when joking - do you think you make the right people mad when you say things The Rebel - when did you stand up for yourself - others - when did you not stand up for others even though you should've (..) - are you motivated more by justice or by revenge - what about your environment needs change The innocent - where do you feel you're naive - what topics do you avoid - what things give you childlike wonder (..) - what is something you refuse to accept even though people have told you many times - do you get more or less 'mature' as you grown The Ruler - do you feel you're responsible to the world - would you wield power wisely - what is more important , stability or change (..) - are you more about ideas or action - have people told you they find you inspiring - how do you approach making decisions when multiple people are involved. Is the greater good, individual justice or collective opinion the most important The Explorer - where do you take the most risk (..) - what is something you experienced that no one else in your circle has I recommend screenshotting, then printing (😅) or writing with a text editor beneath each question to have enough space. If you only have a mobile device, consider answering the questions in order spoken out loud and record yourself Happy discovery !
THIS IS SO HELPFUL since I just took the "get to know yourself" and "you don't have to perform" points from your commonplace book seriously and started one about a week ago :))
I started with these last week! I'm currently on the magician and so far I've been loving the experience or writing under some type of concept or premise. I'm getting the feeling I'll learn so much from this, thanks!! This is also making me fall in love with writing a lot more! xoxo
i've really been struggling with 'finding myself' (whatever that means) and figuring out who I want to be. I'm soo excited to try this it came at the perfect time
there are so many journal prompts i just dont like or i can’t get into but i really liked these prompts and they were actually interesting and they provoked thought in my mind. i wanted to answer them as soon as i heard them because my brain instantly thought of an answer to write. these linked to stuff in my life and resonated with me rather than other journal prompts that seem like theyre “mindful/mediation” ish vibes so thank you for this :)
Ngl, wasn't going to do this...but after watching the video, I'm going to find time to do this. I was trying to think of moments in my life that answered some of these as I was watching.
Hi! I study psych and i also read tarot. its quite interesting how much carl jung's work can be found in the rider waite deck, especially the major arcana
Interesting idea! I used to like the MBTI but never looked into Jung's subconscious stuff much. That part of the mind is the most mysterious and also the biggest part of ourselves. I'm starting to become fascinated with it as I get older.
okay so i tried some of these and i realized that i always tried to write poetry about the stuff which came up but never truly acknowledged what it was until now!!! I DONT KNOW IF IT MAKES SENSE BUT I LOVE THESE
wonderful wonderful video!! i struggle w journal prompts sometimes (they're usually either vague & cliche or they box me in), but these were very introspective and truly made me examine some blindspots of mine
I don’t know if you ever thought about this, but you could totally make this as an interactive journal and sell it online! I’m sure many people would find it useful!😄
Interesting video. It feels like the questions start off strong but peter out pretty quickly, by the end the explorer archetype basically just having the one question.
lovely video and prompts focusing on archetypes and providing a more overall view for those who will actually journal their answers and read it over 😳🥰
it's really weird but your sentence was written so beautifully in a weird way, probably because of the word "introspecting"- I've never heard that before since I'm not necessarily fluent in English / it's not my first language, but it's so pretty hahah
Thank you for these prompts, I've felt didn't like the Myers Briggs test bc answers are subject to change overtime. These archetypes are more related to reflect on. ❤
ty for this video, im not journaling but i like your voice and listening to this while i got ready helped me think about the kind of person i am and want to be
hey crystal, just found you yesterday and you seem like a very interesting person! im gonna stay here for longer for sure. can i ask what you studied in collegue? i know you graduated already but i wonder what was your major :) and are you using your education in your job now, as a post grad?
I love where your mind goes. You make the most interesting videos. I hope you are great. I also would be interested in seeing more of your art and notebooks and sketchbooks. Love that you showed art from one of my favorite artists. Gustav K. Do you like his best friend Egon S. ?
@@888_crystal Yes they were best friends and Gustav was always trying to express how good Egon was to others in their time. For some reason Gustav was always looked upon more favorably than Egon, but not out of want, for Gustav. There are images of them together. I'm so glad that you like Egon, he is also one of my favorites. 😁
Just a quick question - what am I supposed to do with my answers to these questions (if anything)? Or rather, what’s the desired outcome of this experiment?
I think it is to understand yourself better and expose habits or trains of thought you often indulge in. By doing that, you can better see what aspects of your life you need to change and how to do that. It might be easier to tell when you indulge in a harmfull way of thinking after answering these questions. By seeing them black on white it´ll be a lot harder to justify doing things that can harm yourself. It can also showcase what areas you need to put more/less energy in. Hope this helps!
I think these types of questions can be answered by anybody. If you can't find answers, maybe try looking inwards and seeing if there are some beliefs and attitudes you hold that is blocking you from forming the right answers? Sometimes our own mind doesn't want us to unpack things. Everyone embodies qualities of the archetypes in some ways. I'm sure you can answer them, these are all about *you*! there is no right or wrong answer. These questions are exercises in knowing yourself. Even if you ramble off-topic you can find something valuable in your answers :)
maybe you do have an answer, it might just be one your mind isn't willing to admit yet. lots of us hold things that don't serve us and just cloud our senses and our introspection. I hope you can work through whatever is blocking you :) there is no right answer. it just is. if you dig enough you will find something, however lots of people are uncomfortable with that and that's okay. you can change that and know and appreciate yourself a little more every day :)
You have to take your time with finding them. You can try and find answers that you know are not true. You can also think about if they would be true to someone you know and compare.

oh i am so thankful for that. I was about to rewatch to note everything down, but now my journaling session can start right away. thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to type these out!
Thank you so much ❤❤
Youre amazing
Thank you ❤
Too many people give vague advice like “start a journal”
This is actually helpful and a beautifully laid out plan. Thank you for this ❤
Compiling a list because this seems really helpful and I don't wanna keep referring back to the vid :)))
The Creator:
- what do you want your legacy in the world to be
- do you think you're are creative? Why?
- how can you cultivate thinking outside the box in yourself
- do you have a life passion
- do you want to pursue that passion at the expense of everything else

- are you complete, when you are alone
The Magician
- when did you last use knowledge or manipulation
- is the universe working to your advantage
- what would you wish to change, wordly or otherwise
(Again I'm adding something)
- if you fail, do you look for what you should have done, or to understand how you were wrong
The Caregiver
- who relies on you, how
- who do you rely on yourself
- who do you rely on online
- where do you self sacrifice

- how do you imagine yourself as an old person
The Everyperson (removing the gendered descriptor)

- do you ever do things just because they are different from how things are normally done
- what do you gain from 'the simple things in life', are they fulfilling
The Hero_ine
- what is the bravest thing you've done
- where are you too arrogant
(..)
- what is the greatest thing you could achieve
- are you sometimes doing something on your own to prove to yourself you can do it
The Jester
- do you feel funny
- do you take things seriously
- have you ever found humor in a serious situation
(..)
- do you punch up or down when joking
- do you think you make the right people mad when you say things
The Rebel
- when did you stand up for yourself
- others
- when did you not stand up for others even though you should've
(..)
- are you motivated more by justice or by revenge
- what about your environment needs change
The innocent
- where do you feel you're naive
- what topics do you avoid
- what things give you childlike wonder
(..)
- what is something you refuse to accept even though people have told you many times

Happy discovery !
Can you do a tour of all your notebooks, skechbook or commonplacebook plisss🐛
THIS IS SO HELPFUL since I just took the "get to know yourself" and "you don't have to perform" points from your commonplace book seriously and started one about a week ago :))

This is such an interesting way to approach self discovery through journaling, thank you! I especially love is as a psychology student :)
Hi! I study psych and i also read tarot. its quite interesting how much carl jung's work can be found in the rider waite deck, especially the major arcana
Heellaw~~ do you mind telling me the chariot would equal to which archetype?? So sorry for bad language.. English isnt my first language 😅
Tarot is not science. You cannot combine those professionally. Just for fun in your personal life. I say this with all the respect 🤗
Interesting idea! I used to like the MBTI but never looked into Jung's subconscious stuff much. That part of the mind is the most mysterious and also the biggest part of ourselves. I'm starting to become fascinated with it as I get older.
also maybe a good prompt for the caregiver ? - in what ways do you show up for others you dont for yourself ?
okay so i tried some of these and i realized that i always tried to write poetry about the stuff which came up but never truly acknowledged what it was until now!!!
I DONT KNOW IF IT MAKES SENSE BUT I LOVE THESE

Big Jung admirer. Stealing these questions for later. Love the video
as someone who is in love with all things Jungian, I really appreciate this prompt. Thank you!
I love your voice and the vibe in general. It’s so calming 🧚♀️
Interesting video. It feels like the questions start off strong but peter out pretty quickly, by the end the explorer archetype basically just having the one question.
The magician was so ON POINT it really resonated
THANK YOU
I discovered thing about myself that i never realized i had i feel good about myself now after a time of unworthiness and feeling lost
i love specific guides, thank you
lovely video and prompts focusing on archetypes and providing a more overall view for those who will actually journal their answers and read it over 😳🥰
Man the caregiver was so accurate for me 🙃 I'm gonna be spending a lot of time introspecting on those questions
it's really weird but your sentence was written so beautifully in a weird way, probably because of the word "introspecting"- I've never heard that before since I'm not necessarily fluent in English / it's not my first language, but it's so pretty hahah
Miss crystal I think you're a genius
LUV UUUU GURL. THE AMOUNT OF RESEARCH AND TIME THIS MIGHT HAVE TAKEN BROO GOOD JOB.
Thank you for these prompts, I've felt didn't like the Myers Briggs test bc answers are subject to change overtime. These archetypes are more related to reflect on. ❤
really enjoyed this video! eager to get to my journal and go through these prompts.

So do we have to answer the questions of all archetypes?
Excellent!
this is the coolest shit ever thank uuuuuu
I love your content
thanks pookie :)
What doe being in tune w yourself mean? (In the lover archetype)
If I don't have answers for a specific archetype, how would I go about changing that ? If u know
I think these types of questions can be answered by anybody. I want to do this so bad can i do it online? I doht have access to write in physical journals
Im a magician 😢
is it sad that i didnt have an answer to like any of the questions?
maybe you do have an answer, it might just be one your mind isn't willing to admit yet. lots of us hold things that don't serve us and just cloud our senses and our introspection. this is exactly what I needed, thank you 🩷
