Nice vid. I think the Tiger is the equal to the Cobra 148 GTL (Non DX), as the 148 GTL DX Mk1 was the same as the Super Star 360 FM Mk1, with FM and that strange roger bleep sounding like a chicken :-). Best 73, Love your videos.
Mister DX5 hello, thank you again for your visit on my channel. Take a look in to the link about the SUPER STAR 360FM MK1 with the bird roger beep: th-cam.com/video/DvJ9bq_rxl0/w-d-xo.html
Mister Leng PAL hello, thank you for your interest. You'll find these radios on Ricardo.ch: www.ricardo.ch/de/c/funktechnik-40270/?sort=newest Happy airwaves to you...
Mister Salvage hello, thank you for your interest. This radio is really a very rare radio. The PC-593 PCB is only used on the old SUPER STAR 360 (without FM) and SWISS-CB TIGER-120. Happy airwaves to you....
Mister Jeff hello, thank you for your interest. You'll find this PCB only on the old SUPER STAR 360 and TIGER 120 radios. I've not more info too, in what radios this PCB also installed is. Best 73 to you...
Mister Bruce hello, thank you for your interest on my channel. Yes, the TIGER-120 is a-CB-clone of the old SUPER-STAR 360 (without FM) and very rare. But the SUPER-STAR 360 has a 10m Band Sequence from channel 41 to 80: 28.000- to 28.440 MHz (MID) and 28.500- to 28.940 MHz (HI). The Tiger 120 has the range 26.515- to 27.855 MHz. All in all, CB-radios and -antennas are a passion of me. It was a beautiful time in the 80ies: Big CBiers parties, without smartphones and instagram profiles. Best 73s and happy airwaves to you and yours. ..
@@SWIZZRADIOS very interesting radio, in my teenage years in the late 80s my dad had a cb radio, I have that and a cobra 148, but I am now an amateur radio operator and my young son is also, cb was a great start for me into radio, thanking you for writing back to me, am cb radio still holds a special interest to me, I like the 1970's chrome front panels and am audio 🙂
Mister Richard hello, thank you again for your visit on my channel. There is a side-board on left on the chassis of the Tiger 120. This is the oscillator board for the three bands. Per band are four x-tals for AM/usb/lsb/cw on the board. Thats the difference to the 40 channels version. I don't know how you can ad more channels to the FCC-version. Best 73 to you and yours.
CB Radio fan hello, thank you for the interest. It's an original 12 volt lamp and not a LED. Directly switched on the power switch. Happy airwaves to you...
