Once the game leaves opening theory, it's brain v. brain. No one beats Magnus at Brain Vs. Brain. That's why is strategy going forward will be to get into brain v. brain as quickly as possible.
Like say, move 1.

An opening that is used by novices and people learning to play the game.
People usually stop using it, when they are taught to fight for mid, and how to count squares.
It's very uncommon in higher ranked chess.
It's really just a sign of major disrespect for his opponent .
I don't find it shocking at all. It's totally in line with his personality to play this against lower ranked opponents.
I've never seen it.

As you know I am a huge fan of yours and always look forward to your next EPIC CHESS video! Sorry, but if a player consistently moves pieces when he shouldn’t, illegal moves, etc that would be cheating. If the same opening move or sequence gets you wins because your opponent can’t see it coming, how is that cheating?
