    I LOVE that you were upfront and honest and just told us exactly what the price range is!!! I really can’t stand looking at a video for something that shows and tells EVERYTHING BUT THE PRICE!!!!!!! I’m with a big group of people and they all agree and we are all really pleasantly surprised and appreciate the price being said right in the beginning so there’s no wasting anyones time if some are searching for a different price range!!! Awesome awesome awesome!! Thank you!!!

    I have a fifth wheel, that being said, there are a few things I wish manufacturers would add and adjust.
    1) Fiberglass protective cover of the back panel of the trailer.
    2) Put a third axel on a trailer this size.
    3) Definitely add a 3rd AC unit possibly under the trailer using the furnace vents.
    4) Eliminate the island sink. Uses too much space.
    5)Extend awning to cover the door area better.
    6)Use better insulation.
    7) Add heavy Duty caster wheels on the end of the drop down rear frame.

      Rv manufacturers need to get with the times and start using mini splits in these RVs. You can run anywhere from 2-5 indoor AC units off of a single outdoor unit. This would eliminate the need for vents up top that lose a SIGNIFICANT amount of the cooling capacity before it even gets to out of the vent. Minisplits are quit and more efficient and they are inverter based, so they don't need a huge power surge to start up and they can maintain a temp at a lower output instead of kicking on and off. They are better in every conceivable way. You could mount the outdoor unit in the back of the rv or under it. You wouldn't have to have huge holes in the ceiling that can potentially leak where the normal AC unit would go.

    An engineer needs to design a 'vertical' slide (in the same way that a pop-up camper pops up ) for the Loft that would double the height to ~60" instead of 33". That would REALLY open that area up for kids/teens to relax and play.

    Camper layouts have come a long ways especially within the last ten or so years, you only have this cube that you can repurpose so many ways up/down/sideways. This camper is definitely cool since it's "different" but the one thing I immediately saw was the fact that it's meant to sleep a substantial number of people (keep them in their holding cells) while only allowing a whole 2 people to relax in the living room at night and watch a movie together. That leads me back to my first statement, when you give from one part of the layout you contribute to the other, thank God I'm not an RV interior layout engineer...

    I'd like to see pocket doors on the inside rooms as opposed to swinging doors. They take up less space and are safer. If you are walking by as someone is coming out, you won't get whacked by a door.

    My only concern is the ladder to the loft. Given it's likely to be used by kids, I'd rather give up a couple sq ft of floor space for a set of stairs, maybe 90 degrees to the threshold, and a handrail suitable for a small child to hold on or brace against. Other than that, this is one of the best 5th wheel designs for a family with 2-3 kids or even just additional guests.

    I wanted to like this one, but I can’t get past the loft above the main living area and bedroom, which is the last place I’d want kids or teenagers hanging out or going to bed early. No place for the adults to hang out and have quiet time, etc. not to mention those same kids are going to have to traipse across to the bathroom when needed. Not sure who thought this one up, but major fail.

  • @Tatiacha
    @Tatiacha 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It can sleep a lot of people but hope the weather is good since only 6 will be able to sit down 4 at the table and 2 on the couch to eat and family tv or movie is out since really only 2 seats to see the TV. If a big group of you are stuck inside it may feel especially tight in that living room kitchen area.

    Statement at 8:00 is not true. Keystone has acknowledged the bottom bedroom not getting air flow and has redesigned the duct work to assist this problem, plus Coleman Mac has also upgraded its air units to better assist. The 3rd AC is now standard on this model because of cooling issues.

    I love a 5th wheel. this a nice one for sure, but the deal breaker for me is the “living room”/TV room only offers seating for 2 adults. what if the family wants to set together and have a movie nigh or just watch TV during a rain out? There is no comfortable place for anyone to sit in the RV except the two recliners. We have a 21 year old and a 6 and 8 year old. She is not going to want to sit up in the loaft with them all the time . Some times our son and his wife go camping with us and there is only seating for 2 adult in the RV. Do no smart desinger think of this? You hope you will be outdoors having fun, but that don’t always happen. Have you ever in a week long “rain out” with the family stuck in an RV? Even the interia doesnt look like A 100K$ to me

    If I were to buy this type of floorplan, I would kill the loft and raise the ceiling to have a higher slideout. The rear bed area could be designed to work as a murphy bed and during the day, could serve as an office with a drop down desk. I would opt to have a extended seating area with wider theater seats and re-design the dinette with a removable bench seat ottoman and a single folding chair.

    I see major problems with tail drag going in and out of just about any turning with how low the frame is on the back. Also any kind of nose high hooked up for towing that tail is going to drag.

    Definitely a neat layout. I live in WV where there is no such thing as a flat piece of ground and I know for a fact this wouldn't work at a number of campgrounds due to the drop frame in the rear- but having been all over the country I'd say it would be fine in the majority of states. I would rather sacrifice a little bit of space in the loft and have a staircase there. Most of the time the ladder is used because there isn't room for stairs- but I think there would be with this layout. Only other thing I didn't like is the toilet right in the middle of each bathroom. Not much you can do about it in the rear bathroom but I couldn't deal with that in the master. A few tweaks and this would be a very cool layout- still a nice camper.

    The only downside to this design is that there are only 2 comfortable places to sit! You might be able to sleep 8-10 ppl, but if you have a cold or rainy day where everyone is stuck inside, where is everyone supposed to sit, in their beds?! I think these are better for drier climates in the southwest, where you can be outside most of the time, or even Texas, but in the Midwest it rains a few days/nights a week in the Summer, including Severe Weather, where you need a comfortable place to wait it out. We went with a gorgeous rear living model, and got a ton of seating. The recliner’s are so comfortable, but also our King pull out couch is the absolute most comfortable thing I’ve ever laid on, and that sleeps 3 easy. So our RV sleeps 9 for us, and during the day, it has all the comfy seating that we need. I also prefer the U-shaped dinette or padded bench seats over the 4 wood chairs. No one would want to sit there long, imo, and we play lots of games at our table, so comfort is a necessity. Just make a list of all the things you want in an RV, then shop around until you find one that has the most things on your list. It took us two years to find the one, but we love it! It also has MASSIVE storage, which is so hard to find. You’ll never get everything on your list, but you can come close with a couple compromises. :))

    I have a queen or king size bed & it has a storage under the bed ( size of bed & knee deep) to bad this doesn't have that. To bad the loft didn't lift higher.....how does an adult make beds up there ?? This is a GREAT rv....they did a good job building it. Also it's HORRIBLE it doesn't have an AWNING on both sides !!!!

    My hubs and I turned 65 this year. An RV this size would be great to live in. However we have no grandkids, so the loft would end up as storage. And that ladder doesnt look safe for two seniors. Not to mention our knees on that upper floor. I guess its ok for a growing family.

    This is very nice! However, I would never want to share my master suite bathroom with others. Yet, the 2nd bathroom is private with an outside door! There is great use in going directly to the bathroom from outside! The main bathroom should be moved to a better spot, the living area does'nt have enuff seating, and tv mounts should be on the bedroom walls. Also, maybe a small tv in the loft. This does'nt seem to have solar power, which would be awesome!

    I saw one of these a couple days ago at RV Inn down in North Carolina while I was delivering another RV. That loft is good for cargo, but the payload for one that big is really low. My Open Range 376FBH has over 4,000 of payload, and it's almost exactly the same size.

  • @karynnekrasowski3525
    @karynnekrasowski3525 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I heard the payload for this one is only 2k? Is that right? They were saying definitely not enough to store everything needed for all it sleeps. Especially not for full time. Such a bummer.
