- Boat # 13: I add another boat to the collection. This 1991 Malibu Euro F3 Competition Ski Boat just happened to pop up on the marketplace and knowing how disciplined I am when it comes to boats.... I bought it. I introduce to you the next addition to the channel! This boat will open a whole new avenue of content. Water sports, slalom water skiing, bare footing and more! I grew up spending my summer being towed behind ski boats and competing in water sports with my family. Now it is time to share that passion with you!

PCV should be plumbed to the bottom of the carb at full vacuum, make sure you replace that fuel pump also I can see someone blocked off the line to the carburetor, probably because it was leaking back into the carb, blocking it off will push raw fuel into the bottom end, that combined with the PCV routing could also be why you're smoking. Love the boat and your channel!

I just picked up this same boat. Same color way and all. Was stored inside and been sitting since 2021, only has 116hrs on it. I’ve come across your videos after doing some research on it. Cool to see people still fixing these! After watching your video I can’t wait to get it on the water!
Really nice boat in good condition for its age. I think when you start the engine while the boat is at the trailer, first you start the engine and then you get the water running, correct me if im wrong! Thanks for the video!
I recommend starting the water first so the water pump impeller is never ran dry.
I learned when starting the boat in the trailer, turn in blower, start engine then turn water on. Most of the time someone is there to help turn the hose on but it won’t hurt the rubber impeller if it runs dry for 30 ish seconds. Keeping up on the yearly maintenance. The rubber impeller should be checked each year and replaced every 2 years.
@@wolfparty4234 No, but why take the chance? On my little 9.9 Evinrude, I will start it on the trailer for 5 seconds just before launch so that starting it when in my jon boat goes much easier.

I was using my old ski from the ‘90’s also just upgraded to brand new Radar. Unbelievable difference. Mine was too small for me now and was a chore getting up on
I grew up on a malibu euro f3. Funny thing is, that thumbnail pic you have on your video of that red euro was ours hahaha. That picture was taken at Christina lake British. Columbia. My dad bought that boat new in 92. It was an epic footin and skiing machine.

I have an 89 malibu euro f3
Hide some dryer sheets around the boat, under seats and access panels. The odor will keep spiders away. I've been boating on and off the Chesapeake for 40 years so I know they can be an issue. People at the marina in saw that I had dryer sheets tied to the mooring and spring lines and asked why...? I kept them below under mattresses, in cabinets and lockers as well as in the cockpit accesses.
dont feel bad i ha ve 2 mailbu euros bought one last eyar for 3500.oo buffed iut out put new chrome wheels and tires on it. a bimini top removed the ski pole and put in a 500hp 383 stroker lol then i bought a 91 malibu euro that came with a 454 just over hauled it nice race cam. tunnel ram yes i had to cut a hole in the engine cover, i repainted it all custom. i do not use them for skiing anylonger cant buy a nice inboard for cruising anylonger like a old chris craft i prefer malibus over the others. both trailers are double axles. interiors or mint. only thing to look out for are the motormounts. years ago i had a nother one that i had to replace the stringers. pain in the ass. look even a nice fishing boat is 50 grand plus if you buy one new. i think a good head doctor might help but i doubt it. i found another one lol a week ago also for 4 grand . i said nope. i can only use one at a time. but that 454 is nasty. sounds like a dragster. to me anyway they are a lot of fun and sound good. i took mine yesterday to a lake here called lake chelan. went way up to a lil town in in it, took this hot lady with me. she said being top less in this old boat is fun. i damn near ran it into the bank lol i also repainted the 91 with a dark blue house of color dark blue mother or pearl. added lots of metalliac.paint cost almost as much as the boat. but sure looks good
Fuel gauge on E, low fuel light ON = send it. I love that boat, Great find.

Fast Idle, or throttle pump in neutral, we normally go to the reverse position, as the Throttle lever will not hit the Neutral Button

@@BoatRestorationbyBen heck yeah, I ski the course at private lakes in the Austin areas but I take my pachanga 22 out on lake Travis. Where are you going to set up a slalom course? I have a secret spot where the the water is glass the majority of the time near Lake Travis! Lmk if you're in the Austin area, I'll get you on a ski
