(Yes I'm a fan girl lol) I wonder if there's a correlation between introverts and psychic vampirism because I'm very much a loner. I'm a hypersensitive empath (which truly sucks) so much so that I had developed agoraphobia and lived in a room for 9 years only associating with family members and my best friend. People drain me and the only time I feel 'better' is when I'm in nature taking in energy from my surroundings far away from people.

Ivy, I wanted to add to your bit about blood being such a spiritual thing to many cultures. In Chinese traditional medicine, blood is also seen as life force which carries the energy and it is when the blood becomes stagnant in the body that diseases form. Hence exercise like Qigong (literally means life energy movement), are meant to keep the blood moving so it doesn’t become stagnant in the body and allow diseases to develop. I’ve found that Tai Chi is a fantastic way to keep my prana flowing despite being a major introvert like yourself!!
Ivy I (psi vamp) also found myself exhausted from social interactions for most of my life. Look into *intentionally feeding* in those situations, because vampires can equally *take in* and *give out* energy, and an unawakened vamp is very likely to be unintentionally letting their energy be sucked into the vortex created by the group. the empath bit is so spot on, i can always sense when someone is feeling off, yet i love driving through big city streets when the sidewalks are busy cause it feels like siphoning too little to damage yet still more than enough to boost my mood in that moment. its fuckin weird. guess im a psivamp? Ha yall go deeper into the stuff, im also introverted, i find it takes more energy to interact with a person than it does to siphon from folks who arent paying attention but also ive never consciously tried so idk.
This is exactly how I feel!! There's got to be two different types of vamps... Introverted and extroverted has got to play a factor in how we siphon energy. It only seems logical to me because I find interacting with humans is exhausting which seems counter intuitive for the traditional vamp 😂 Who knows!
I can relate so much with my energy being sucked out of me when I am at work and have to recharge when I get home ! I use different mineral bracelets and always cover myself with a spell of white light from head to toe to protect me from all beings ! If I don’t do this I’m completely drained ! I am an empath but don't think of myself as vampirism being a part of me .I don't harvest energy from people I gather my energy by being alone and doing art or reading or baking but whatever I do it's solitary that gives me energy.
I keep struggling with this idea and I keep going back and forth... I feel the same way as you. I feel totally drained after interacting with humans. Maybe we are absorbing their energy but we are only taking their pain away? They feel good after the interaction but we feel terrible. And so we feel like the only way to recharge is to be alone so we don't have to deal with everyone's pain. I have no idea, but it seems like a rather unfair exchange 😂
I feel the same way! I was thinking that we are feeding on different energy or maybe we are overly sensitive and our aura is not worked out enough and not solid enough so we let others to feed on it too much? I cannot get it right 😂
Understand the feeling drained in public spaces. The more aware of the space/atmosphere/people I am, the worse it is. It helps me to visualize a lever that controls how much of “me” is present in those situations. At home where it’s safe the lever is full open, especially when I’m studying or practicing the craft. I guess it’s a form of protection? 🤷🏼♀️
That is definitely a form of protection! I have just learned that it's better for me to not be around humans so much. No matter how much I shield myself or tap into other energy sources to help me out... It doesn't matter. It drains the life out of me. That’s so true a true vampire is in fact an empath…usually an empath that has suffered a series of traumas…gathering from an environment or an object is easier than people…people have too many problems it’s best with people to try and help them as opposed to consume energy from them…storms and weather and magical places are my go to 😊 for active energy feeding

Hey Ivy, this is Tammy, LOVED this Q&A with Jasmyne! You always ask the right questions so the interview SLAPS! I have ALWAYS been interested in Lilith and Vampirism. I understand now why as a Witch that I need to ground, center and shield when I am getting ready to pull energy from the Earth. And that pulling energy like I do is actually psychic vampirism. I remember when I was in the recovery room after one of my surgeries and I had asked the orderly to put on my apnea machine because I wasn’t breathing well. If you can believe it he actually refused … And I started to reach out into the room for breath (I.e. energy I.e. Chi) to save myself. I was able to use the energy I harvested to breathe. Now I realize I was acting as an energy vampire. UNREAL! Jasmyne is right, for ME at least, I was acting as an energy vampyre and just wasn’t putting a label on what I have been doing.

I have children just like those one who gives and one who takes and the their both in their late 30’s and just realizing how their energy affects others and themselves. My thought on the Introvert vs Extrovert question (somewhere about 30 minutes in) as an outsider looking in, could it be related to the type of energy one naturally tends to harvest unconsciously? Like for example, Jasmyne as an extrovert naturally absorbs the positive energies in social situations, while you as an introvert naturally absorb the negative energies in social situations? Not sure how much that resonates, but I figured I'd throw a different perspective out there in case it clicks for you too that way.

Wow. The bit where Jasmyne talked about being “a hybrid,” really clicked with me. I was diagnosed as a juvenile diabetic at 9 and everyone was so worried, but poking my finger ten times a day and seeing the blood come out then licking it was almost an addiction for me growing up 😂 as I got older, people loved to tell me I was too much, too morbid, etc. I’m 33 now and every time someone tries to insult me by calling me weird or too much, it literally feeds my energy and fuels my fire. So nice to see someone relate lol

I completely agree with the thought that an empath is an energy vampire, it's just that most uncontrolled empaths unconsciously absorb peoples' negative energy rather than their energetic vitality. And as one gains better control of their empathy, it's in learning to moderate your absorption rate and/or absorption type i.e. negativity/vitality. It's literally vampyric practice, lol.
I practice magic and was never able to pinpoint what type of magick I specifically needed to use for my practice to work. This makes sooooo much sense to me as far as empaths being similar to vampires or the same. I believe that I might be an empath. It certainly has been thrown around to me way before becoming a witch (btw I’m a reborn newbie witch, meaning back in the day I was interested and started practicing but life happened and I had to let go of it). I do feel extremely affected by people’s vibes around me. It can f*** up my day if the vibes are off. When the vibes are great and I am surrounded by people that like me and I feel so good. One thing that I noticed is I love going to concerts. I have been going to concerts for almost 20 years now. I prefer to go by myself. I always feel like it is the only thing lately that makes me feel alive. It has always made me feel alive so it is quite an addiction for me. Hearing her describe psi vamps made so much sense to me. I’m literally surrounded by, for the most part, positive energy that I literally absorb and it feeds my soul making me feel energized and full of life during a concert. It explains so much. I feel like I need to learn more about vampirism now so I can learn how to harvest and use energy the right way and learn how to manage it properly.

Idk, I can see where you can compare empathy with energy vampires but to me absorbing energy isn’t the same as ‘taking’ it because we are forced to be in a society full of people emitting negative energy a LOT and we don’t unconsciously create drama in order to feed on that negative energy like actual energy vampires we just can’t help absorbing it due to porous auric field (that can be healed btw) so yeah, I can see the correlation there but I personally don’t see it as vampirism. Vampirism is about NEEDING that life force to survive. We don’t NEED it and it’s a curse to constantly not know which emotional energies are mine and which are some guy I passed on the street or people in a bus! This helped me realise that I have been going under the radar as invisible also for years by choice but never associated it with vampirism. Introversion certainly

I find it interesting that some people do say that you should be slightly drained when finishing spells or you didn't do it right. I never understood why.
Ah, yes! When you are performing spellwork, you are exerting mental and spiritual energy. It can become really tiresome especially once you start doing bigger spells. That's why it's so important to center and ground your energy before and after each spell so that you don't exhaust yourself. ❤️
Omg this makes alot of wierd sense to me lol. My Teen has borderline personality disorder. I'm an emparh. So is she. But either end she's on it feels very much like I am drained. But I will say I have never tried or thought about trying to harvest energy (good energy) except while maybe Elemental, grounding, taking in fresh air etc. It never occurred to me to try & harvest energy from a crowd like a concert or something because I'm such a home body to avoid people lol
This was such an interesting video. I'm in a similar position to you Ivy - I am intrigued and interested in learning more. In the past I've definitely considered that my empath ways do make me vampyric and I also do the same practice you spoke about with my hubby - he holds my hand and I receive his energy when I am feeling low and anxious. He's not witchy at all but he knows about everything I do and is supportive, so it's obviously always consensual and agreed but really interesting. I use to say I'm an empath, but more that I was told I am. But saying that is so new age and im not a big fan of 😒 the way you have explained it makes sense. This was very interesting. I do not consider myself to be a vampire or empathic at all. I actually have a hard time picking up on energy at all. Example when at a concert I can tell people are enjoying them selves but I don't feel that energy in the way you and Jasmyne describe. But when you talk about absorbing the ambient energy. That sounds very much like what I do with thermal energy from a bonfire the sun or my forge. Working with a heat source is how I " recharge " if that makes sense.

I wouldn't say empaths are vampyres as they're not taking in the energy of other people but rather sensing the other person's energy while their own energy matches it's frequency which is why being around other people exhausts you. It makes no sense to say you are feeding of people's energy and yet you feel exhausted after 100% of your interactions with others it's not like coincidentally every single human you meet has "bad" energy and thats why you feel bad because you coincidentally always feed off bad energy, statistically that would be almost impossible. And regardless energy is energy and more should still fuel rather than give the feeling of depletion. Feeding from the energy of concerts makes more sense because you enjoy the environment obviously you are there to take it all in so naturally that's whats going to happen consciously or not and the energy of everyone there would likely be of a higher vibration so you take it in while your energy also atunes to a higher frequency

For me I'm getting into Vampirism as a way to feel sympathetic empathy. I have very low sympathetic empathy yet very high cognitive empathy. And rather than just viewing energy and emotions from others I want to feel it at least for a short period of time

oh, you were talking about human vampires! those i have not seen here (maybe they move after dark, but do they fear water, that is the question). it might be that some of the human like demons are either the bad ancestors (who most people want to forget) or illusions of the mind (because the mind likes to mix things, whatever you feed it it will start to mix it, that´s how you get men with spider eyes). where i come from that´s just basic totemism ("horned devil" equals people who see goats regularly).. well, no goats here, but we have reindeer, thus we have reindeer spirits, like Meandash (look it up). it´s the same but different, that´s how you can understand everything :) (it doesn´t have to be light vs. dark, there is more untruth in that divide than truth, even if some truth also) a way more accurate divide would be those who like make belief, and those who don´t (never seen no half man half reindeer, might not exist).
For the obsessed with blood part idk if this would be considered obsessed with blood but when I was younger if my finger starts to bleed or I get a cut I'd put it in my moth despite people saying not too because it could get infected it's not good for you in my mind it was a it will make it better situation I also consider myself an empath because in certain situations I tend to absorb people's emotional energy and I've especially noticed it in large situations like groups of people feeling similar situations stuff like that but outside of the empath thing and back to the blood thing would it count if anyone's talked about blood and tasting it or I'd read vampire books about how it tasted and or felt I wanted it too and even right now for some reason thinking of tasting it makes my mouth water but when I was younger when I was given red drinks or anything that was sorta blood looking I'd joke about it being blood idk if that counts but maybe and I'd love to hear feedback I've only recently become more self aware because alot of things in my past but ik I've been told when I was younger I was literally absolutely fearless almost like I knew nothing was wrong and ik I've also am able to sense energies like when a kidnapper was near by I usally sleep like the dead but like and 30 mins before a kidnapping amber alert I was wide awake terrified and I was only able to go back to sleep once I was in a room with 2 sleeping boys and then there was also when I felt an awful energy from my house and I was like I'm not going in there I was basically forced in and not even 20 minutes later the front door opened like someone was sneaking out but an invisible someone and my dad called my name in a normal voice and keep in mind I was 3 rooms away in my room with my door shut and he was in the drive way and heard him and my family can swear I have selective bionic hearing I was also wondering if someone could help me figure out if I am a vampire I know I'm different in some way but I cant place it so I'm honestly open to anything

I feel the same way! I was thinking that we are feeding on different energy or maybe we are overly sensitive and our aura is not worked out enough and not solid enough so we let others to feed on it too much? I cannot get it right 😂

Understand the feeling drained in public spaces. The more aware of the space/atmosphere/people I am, the worse it is. It helps me to visualize a lever that controls how much of “me” is present in those situations. At home where it’s safe the lever is full open, especially when I’m studying or practicing the craft. I guess it’s a form of protection? 🤷🏼♀️
That is definitely a form of protection! I have just learned that it's better for me to not be around humans so much. No matter how much I shield myself or tap into other energy sources to help me out... It doesn't matter. It drains the life out of me. I've been thinking about why that is ever since Jasmyne and I filmed this video... I think introverted Vampyres must be a different breed!

Hey Ivy, this is Tammy, LOVED this Q&A with Jasmyne! You always ask the right questions so the interview SLAPS! I have ALWAYS been interested in Lilith and Vampirism. I understand now why as a Witch that I need to ground, center and shield when I am getting ready to pull energy from the Earth. And that pulling energy like I do is actually psychic vampirism. I remember when I was in the recovery room after one of my surgeries and I had asked the orderly to put on my apnea machine because I wasn’t breathing well. If you can believe it he actually refused … And I started to reach out into the room for breath (I.e. energy I.e. Chi) to save myself. I was able to use the energy I harvested to breathe. Now I realize I was acting as an energy vampire. UNREAL! Jasmyne is right, for ME at least, I was acting as an energy vampyre and just wasn’t putting a label on what I have been doing.

I just love your channel, I certainly understand vampereric magic and how and being and empath either a introvert or extrovert can be classified as a vampire. I have children just like those one who gives and one who takes and the their both in their late 30’s and just realizing how their energy affects others and themselves. My thought on the Introvert vs Extrovert question (somewhere about 30 minutes in) as an outsider looking in, could it be related to the type of energy one naturally tends to harvest unconsciously? Like for example, Jasmyne as an extrovert naturally absorbs the positive energies in social situations, while you as an introvert naturally absorb the negative energies in social situations? Not sure how much that resonates, but I figured I'd throw a different perspective out there in case it clicks for you too that way.

Wow. The bit where Jasmyne talked about being “a hybrid,” really clicked with me. I was diagnosed as a juvenile diabetic at 9 and everyone was so worried, but poking my finger ten times a day and seeing the blood come out then licking it was almost an addiction for me growing up 😂 as I got older, people loved to tell me I was too much, too morbid, etc. I’m 33 now and every time someone tries to insult me by calling me weird or too much, it literally feeds my energy and fuels my fire. So nice to see someone relate lol

I completely agree with the thought that an empath is an energy vampire, it's just that most uncontrolled empaths unconsciously absorb peoples' negative energy rather than their energetic vitality. And as one gains better control of their empathy, it's in learning to moderate your absorption rate and/or absorption type i.e. negativity/vitality. It's literally vampyric practice, lol.

I practice magic and was never able to pinpoint what type of magick I specifically needed to use for my practice to work. This makes sooooo much sense to me as far as empaths being similar to vampires or the same. I believe that I might be an empath. It certainly has been thrown around to me way before becoming a witch (btw I’m a reborn newbie witch, meaning back in the day I was interested and started practicing but life happened and I had to let go of it). I do feel extremely affected by people’s vibes around me. It can f*** up my day if the vibes are off. When the vibes are great and I am surrounded by people that like me and I feel so good. One thing that I noticed is I love going to concerts. I have been going to concerts for almost 20 years now. I prefer to go by myself. I always feel like it is the only thing lately that makes me feel alive. It has always made me feel alive so it is quite an addiction for me. Hearing her describe psi vamps made so much sense to me. I’m literally surrounded by, for the most part, positive energy that I literally absorb and it feeds my soul making me feel energized and full of life during a concert. It explains so much. I feel like I need to learn more about vampirism now so I can learn how to harvest and use energy the right way and learn how to manage it properly.

Idk, I can see where you can compare empathy with energy vampires but to me absorbing energy isn’t the same as ‘taking’ it because we are forced to be in a society full of people emitting negative energy a LOT and we don’t unconsciously create drama in order to feed on that negative energy like actual energy vampires we just can’t help absorbing it due to porous auric field (that can be healed btw) so yeah, I can see the correlation there but I personally don’t see it as vampirism. Vampirism is about NEEDING that life force to survive. We don’t NEED it and it’s a curse to constantly not know which emotional energies are mine and which are some guy I passed on the street or people in a bus!
This helped me realise that I have been going under the radar as invisible also for years by choice but never associated it with vampirism. Introversion certainly

I find it interesting that some people do say that you should be slightly drained when finishing spells or you didn't do it right. I never understood why.
Ah, yes! When you are performing spellwork, you are exerting mental and spiritual energy. It can become really tiresome especially once you start doing bigger spells. That's why it's so important to center and ground your energy before and after each spell so that you don't exhaust yourself. ❤️
Omg this makes alot of wierd sense to me lol. My Teen has borderline personality disorder. I'm an emparh. So is she. But either end she's on it feels very much like I am drained. But I will say I have never tried or thought about trying to harvest energy (good energy) except while maybe Elemental, grounding, taking in fresh air etc. It never occurred to me to try & harvest energy from a crowd like a concert or something because I'm such a home body to avoid people lol

This was such an interesting video. I'm in a similar position to you Ivy - I am intrigued and interested in learning more. In the past I've definitely considered that my empath ways do make me vampyric and I also do the same practice you spoke about with my hubby - he holds my hand and I receive his energy when I am feeling low and anxious. He's not witchy at all but he knows about everything I do and is supportive, so it's obviously always consensual and agreed but really interesting. As a witch 🧙♂️ myself there are so many ways to draw in energy and this is no different. In some way. I use to say I'm an empath, but more that I was told I am. But saying that is so new age and im not a big fan of 😒 the way you have explained it makes sense.

This was very interesting. I do not consider myself to be a vampire or empathic at all. I actually have a hard time picking up on energy at all. Example when at a concert I can tell people are enjoying them selves but I don't feel that energy in the way you and Jasmyne describe. But when you talk about absorbing the ambient energy. That sounds very much like what I do with thermal energy from a bonfire the sun or my forge. Working with a heat source is how I " recharge " if that makes sense.
How interesting! I'd love to know why we all absorb energy differently and from different sources... It really just goes to show that we all vibrate at different frequencies!

I feel I am kept in a cage because being near to others causes them to get possessed, and many people die in ritualistic ways for me... I don't think this is the same as a vampire... I actually am sure I am not even able to be talked to directly. Its odd how in control my life is. by not me..

I wouldn't say empaths are vampyres as they're not taking in the energy of other people but rather sensing the other person's energy while their own energy matches it's frequency which is why being around other people exhausts you. It makes no sense to say you are feeding of people's energy and yet you feel exhausted after 100% of your interactions with others it's not like coincidentally every single human you meet has "bad" energy and thats why you feel bad because you coincidentally always feed off bad energy, statistically that would be almost impossible. And regardless energy is energy and more should still fuel rather than give the feeling of depletion. Feeding from the energy of concerts makes more sense because you enjoy the environment obviously you are there to take it all in so naturally that's whats going to happen consciously or not and the energy of everyone there would likely be of a higher vibration so you take it in while your energy also atunes to a higher frequency

For me I'm getting into Vampirism as a way to feel sympathetic empathy. I have very low sympathetic empathy yet very high cognitive empathy. And rather than just viewing energy and emotions from others I want to feel it at least for a short period of time

For the obsessed with blood part idk if this would be considered obsessed with blood but when I was younger if my finger starts to bleed or I get a cut I'd put it in my moth despite people saying not too because it could get infected it's not good for you in my mind it was a it will make it better situation I also consider myself an empath because in certain situations I tend to absorb people's emotional energy and I've especially noticed it in large situations like groups of people feeling similar situations stuff like that but outside of the empath thing and back to the blood thing would it count if anyone's talked about blood and tasting it or I'd read vampire books about how it tasted and or felt I wanted it too and even right now for some reason thinking of tasting it makes my mouth water but when I was younger when I was given red drinks or anything that was sorta blood looking I'd joke about it being blood idk if that counts but maybe and I'd love to hear feedback I've only recently become more self aware because alot of things in my past but ik I've been told when I was younger I was literally absolutely fearless almost like I knew nothing was wrong and ik I've also am able to sense energies like when a kidnapper was near by I usally sleep like the dead but like and 30 mins before a kidnapping amber alert I was wide awake terrified and I was only able to go back to sleep once I was in a room with 2 sleeping boys and then there was also when I felt an awful energy from my house and I was like I'm not going in there I was basically forced in and not even 20 minutes later the front door opened like someone was sneaking out but an invisible someone and my dad called my name in a normal voice and keep in mind I was 3 rooms away in my room with my door shut and he was in the drive way and heard him and my family can swear I have selective bionic hearing I was also wondering if someone could help me figure out if I am a vampire I know I'm different in some way but I cant place it so I'm honestly open to anything
