Mate, You are living my dream! I can't begin to explain the almost obsession like drive I feel watching your vlogs and so wanting to be in Thailand. One thing I've learnt in the past 19 months, is getting a second chance changes you in every way possible!, I no longer sweat the small stuff and I am extremely grateful that I will be living my dream in Thailand eventually. In the meantime, please keep your vlogs coming. You're an inspiration!
Thank you both of you, Jen and Range. I had a medical scare while back in Australia getting the annuals done. I actually thought I was done for, after misreading some ultrasound results. I’m grateful every day. 100% 🙏🏻
Good to see you back in 2025 Sammy!! Shame about that drone though 😞. Looking forward to lots more content from your journeys. Best of luck with the DTV application. Goodness knows youve jumped thru some hoops to be where youre at.
Great video. You're really getting good in front of the camera mate. Keep them coming like this - I like your travel videos, but I think most of us tune in for you.
Look forward to seeing more content from you, the recent videos have been awesome. By the way, this was the most honest content about what Thailand can be like, especially for us noobs. I am on the spectrum though I can be flexible which is a major help sometimes. Cheers mate.
Great points about needing to think outside the box to make it in Thailand. Your videos look really crisp and good. What video camera and editing software do you use?
@@GoneAdrift yeah, looks awesome mate. Thought there may have been an upgrade. What editing software you use? I am learning on clip champ. Nothing as fancy as what you do.
Welcome back Sammy 🎉 What did Santa brought you while you in oz ? Hope 🙏 your many thai girlfriends or super modelling job ? 😂 Im returning to Sydney had enough of PM 2.5 & expensive ja jub jub ❤ Pat
Curious to know why you pick Thailand over Australia as your preferred place to live. I love Thailand but cannot imagine living there full time as an "always farang". It's great for a holiday but there's just too many problems, which I'm sure you're well aware of... but then again, each to their own
Great to see you back, Sam!! Restaurants make me laugh.... they hear the first thing you say.... Westerns say, "I won't have the fish. I will have the chicken" All they hear is fish, and out it comes
I'm heading over again this Thursday be cool to chat in person.normal story man meets thai ,lives in nz ,working together then come home for second wedding for thai family .
Waiting to find a longer term rental to when you are in Thailand seems logical if you want to find best price. But once you are boots on the ground how would you suggest finding a place where the website or app isn’t going to overcharge and avoid paying a premium? ? And people always do videos that show how to get the cheapest places available, but there’s a lot of people that don’t want the cheap, , so can you do a video on that or explain how to get one of those properties without being overcharged and paying a premium, say a, three bedroom really nice modern house with pool and a pool villa ?.. how can you find those type properties and not get ripped off or overcharged?
Thailand want long term residents to contribute to their economy financially which is why their longer visas have a higher financial requirement. Some younger Thais look at working overseas so they can earn more during their prime working years and then return to Thailand when they are older. Farangs have built successful businesses in Thailand or got into high paying careers but most make thier money from their home country and enjoy the lower cost of living and freedom in Thailand.
I like what they say when your in an accident as you are automatically at fault being a westerner and the logic is if you were not here the accident wouldnt happen. Which is true but they would have hit somebody else no matter what
I guess the coffee cost inflation is in places where commercial real estate rent is high!? Inner city? Perhaps it goes back to demand for square meterage
All you and adam post is the same informative videos. Just vlog your day to day life and youll find all the success youre searching for. Just look at that risky reg dude who started a year ago with mashtag. Thats what ya call vlogs and entertainment
Sounds like you were implying that you might have to shoot ya shot at freelance working 😂. Hay ya gotta do what ya gotta do.😂 $5 dress and sum cheap make up and you could become popular.😊
This video hit hard hahaha you speak about every pain we have encounter here since we moved in hahaha

Learning it to an advanced level opens even more doors😂 Just be careful which doors you open and which ones you keep shut😂

Good Vid.. What did you think of prices back home $6 for a Coffee.. You have other income source besides You Tube.
I guess the coffee cost inflation is in places where commercial real estate rent is high!?
Inner city?
Perhaps it goes back to demand for square meterage
No other income
How many drones is that now? 😂😂
3 down!
There is plenty you don't find out until you live here a while. I should make a video too.
You need to put gps tags on all of your stuff 🤪
Yes on the motorbike trips mate!
Sam, love your content. However, please please please be careful in generalising Pattaya observations to Thailand in its entirety.
You called me on my myopia the other day. Thanks for keeping me in check Steve haha

I wish I could. Alas, at 13000 subscribers, I’m a long way off that. I have to keep at least 50% of videos generalised broad spectrum interest topics
