Seems like it could mix really well with wand or staff, specially wand for curse explosion combos and and selfsustain, but could be starving on the mana side
don't know if he's confused but resistance spear is only good if you're going bow/spear, with a good long range bow like karnix or tevent you can push for 25+ range with resistance spear. other than bow/spear or staff/spear the resistance spear's range is useless since spear dagger you'll be fighting close up anyway. shaikal spear is pvp simply for the hit chance and almost nothing else. juno is for tanks because the 10 fortitude which mainly only gives cc resistances and damage like all the other stats, but as weak as strength for max damage since it also builds base damage, plus the hp on juno, don't know why anyone would think that spear is good for pve dps. skull severing gives a whopping 20 stats total, 9 strength and 11 foritude but it's max damage is the lowest amoung the other spears. but that's offset by it having the fastest attack speed (attack speed is very important for spear dps) and just giving you the most raw stats out of all the other spears. shaikal and juno combined give you less stats than skull severing lmao. and while the dex on resistance is tempting, everything within spear's own kit is telling you to build heavy attack, which means strength is what you want to at least hit 50 on. you also don't need that much crit because spear, again, has a lot of crit built into the spear itself with it's passive and active skills giving you constant crit rate, you really don't need all that dex and crit because the crit from passive and active skills is going to waste because the diminishing returns hit harder that higher your crit is. spears crit passive literally gives you like 800+ crit every time you deal damage 3 times with an active skill, with spear dagger that's basically EVERY SKILL. instead a focus on strength to increase your base damage and heavy attack chance will = a lot more damage. every time im using javelin im seeing more heavy attacks than normal attacks.
Aragon, when you make your dagger/crossbow updated build, would you also talk about how far you recommend upgrading active and passive skills and which are the most important to focus on?

Get everything to level 3 purple first. Then max out your spin, quick fire, brutal incision, mortal mark and poison. From there, I'd focus on getting all passives to 5 while dissolving any omnipotence skill books to level all your leftover passive skills.
Why does some of your gear pieces in the Quest log only have 1 or 2 traits assigned? Is that because those are the most important ones and the last one can be whatever?
I don't know if i missed you mentioning it but absolutely need attack speed on this build. like 30% just from the build then run attack speed passive and wind dash skill with attack speed buff duration. those two combined you're sitting at around 50-60% on average and literally everything is much faster and smoother to cast. death from above has a 1 second cast time, you'll barely even notice it and your javelins come out lightning quick.
If you build the stacks then go into camo then proc javelin inferno it hits about 6/7 enemies on crit. Id recommend also the traits on the spear to be cooldown speed, crit hit and heavy attack 😊 p.s don't use javelin inferno on single target mob as it wastes too much mana
@gjippsy8419 I never used a blue one sorry I got the shaikal drop first time so I have been using that one. Id go with one that either gives Dex or strength and ignore the fortitude one for now as that's mainly a PvP weapon choice

@@Aragon- you actually don't need infusion for thundercloud. frenzy and cleaving moonlight can add thunderclouds. for the effect, you only really need cleaving with spec. use poison infusion, then thunder spirit, then cleaving moonlight or frenzy, then lightning throw, then spear abilities for ultimate AOE dmg. you said you had filler skill in the video.. take that out and use frenzy with thundercloud spec and AOE spec and you're set. if you can sub out invis for lightning throw, even better. probably don't really need invis for PVE.
Its not really needed for aoe mobbing honestly. You can just use lightning infusion.For single target or boss fights you definitely want to go poison and thundercloud for highest dps when using dagger though. Fatal stigma too good to pass up the extra stacks.

yes mana issues in long fights boss T2. daggers is best pvp and spear multi target farm. but staff/GS/longbow can get mana easy. GreatSword pasive skill work with spear for get mana recovery x hit. I'm thinking of using GS/spear for pve. and daggers/spear for pvp. I'm GS/daggers 3.9CP

Maybe for some sort of single target or PvP build. The passive effect from Shaikal doesn't work with the javelin on this version and the attribute and stats are not good for PvE
In general, it's great. I use a staff and a spear as my main weapons. One downside is that there is a shortage of mana in reinforced dungeons. Only if your teammates with bows buff your leaf at the moment of mana regeneration through the act.
Both Kanon and Welps also seem to have concluded to use the similar abilities. This is what I was using while leveling up. Not a lot different that you can really use when going with spear and dagger for multi target. I don't see the "burst" setup performing better on multi target.

Everyone is running around with completely different items than we have and that items are +12. Theres much more people with arch weapons and people there are using completely different builds there.

Correct. The last ones are whatever for PvE. It doesn't matter for them

for more aoe you can use posion instead of lightning infusion so the lighting from umbral/ javlin fire will cause fire and posion and lighting effects
it only arks the lightning bolts when the target has thunderclads. And you need lightning infusion for the thunberclads

That could be viable, yes, just not as convenient compared to having all your spear attacks also just apply thunderclouds

When I activate lightening infusion and fatal stigma it doesn't ark lightening with any of the spear attacks, what am I doing wrong? 😔

I think 2p harvester 2p gen is a good idea if you can balance your defensive stats out. You need crit & heavy to make spear hit hard, especially crit
